When he finish telling her his plan and surprisingly to hiccup and even Toothless she beg to come with and she also told him her reason. Turns out Astrid Hofferson was abused and pressured by her own family. She have enough of it, Hiccup didn't really have yes as his first nor second choice but she beg him until he gave up and let her tag along.
