Grian needs to hunt down a monster in the forest, a creature of unexplainable powers that he has been instructed to capture. But instead of a ferocious beast, he meets Mumbo, a scared vampire that has no control over his powers or his bloodlust. It's Grian's heart against his head, love against logic. Mumbo doesn't seem like the bloodthirsty creature that all the stories describe him as, but can Grian really trust him?

As weird and maybe deadly magic arrives on Hermitcraft, everyone knows Scar's bitter that's been blamed. But no one knew he'd break as much as he does. YES I MADE THIS A FEW DAYS IN ADVANCE BECAUSE I'M REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO STARTING THIS STORY.

Grians sick, and the bad boys are very bad at taking care of sick people. The town mom steps up to take care of him after finding him in a creator. Her eldest son Scar seems to have taken a liking to the man. Scar starts to remember, remember third life, he remembers how close he and Grian had been and wants that relationship back, he would do anything to get it back. Grian's fishing obsession makes him lose so much sleep to the point where he passes out from exhaustion. Scar has been very anxious about his mental and physical health since then. They both start to catch feelings for the other, but are reluctant to say anything because they don't want to burden the other even more.
