Fanfiction for: The Hero Who Seeks Revenge Shall Exterminate with Darkness You are a surviving member of the Hero Raúl's original fighting party, and unlike the others, you did not betray him, so let's see what is in store for you, shall we? So I read this manga a while back, and honestly, I was fucking crushed. I got genuinely angry, borderline furious at how shitty the antagonists are; they pushed the 'Hero' so far that he turned into a bit of a monster himself. Honestly it is one of the darkest manga that I read, and it has horrible themes of extreme violence, murder, rape, and cannibalism, yet despite all of that, I really am not mad at it, because sometimes...people really do deserve what is coming to them, and if I was in that position, I think it's likely would become a monster too. So this is exploring the concept: can you really be a monster if you hunt them? It is not super graphic but a HUGE trigger warning for the reader wanting the main character to kill them and basically just turning all autonomy over to him. The reader ultimately just didn't come all of the way back from the experience mentioned in this story, so their view is as if behind a film and they don't always understand what is around them.
