Every God and Goddess was given a fated love to cherish forever and ever. Once they found them they would love them and never let them go. Ares, the God of War, gave up long ago on finding her. That was until one faithful day, he actually found her. He was a bit surprised when he found out she was a mortal non the less. Ares was always ready for a fight or to head into battle, but this was different. Now he fights for love and the girl that he has been looking for, since he beginning of time. So what happens when this mortal girl throws this god for a loop? ~•~ This book is based on Greek mythology and also my own thoughts/storylines. It won't be 100% accurate to the history of these gods, but that's not what I'm trying to show in my book. *being currently edited*

Ares the God of War is known for his brutality and quickness to start a fight. Kindness and mercy aren't words he understands. Love is even more foreign to him, nor does he believe in it. As the centuries go by and the world becomes tame, Ares craves for a fierce battle. One where he can bathe himself in blood and laugh as the blade of his sword cuts down his enemies left and right. The Fates have other ideas though. Will the strings of Fates bring him something else to crave more than war and blood or will he try to cut those strings?

According to Myth, the Trojan war was caused by the kidnapping of the most beautiful woman on earth, Helen. Her husband, Menelaus, and his power hungry brother, Agamemnon, sailed across the Aegean Sea to wage war against the Trojan and take Helen back to Sparta. But no one knows of the fierce and undying love between Helen and the god of war, Ares. So what happens when, 3000 years later, Helen is reincarnated by the Fates without Ares' knowledge? Will they be able to finally be together or will history repeat itself? Ares won't allow Helen to push him away again, but Helen can't accept him for two reasons. One, she is already betrothed to Markos - who is keeping her family captive until she says I do - and two, Ares was the one to kill her in one of her previous lives. How could she trust him? What will happen when Helen returns to New York to marry Markos knowing about her history with Ares, her once forgotten love for the god returning more and more with each passing day?
