Arriving at its location, Amethio suddenly sees, much to his shock, an injured Liko laying badly wounded near indeed a cliff, with an evil and somewhat insane grinning Spinel slowly approaching her, to probably snatching her pendant or possibly worse, hurting her even more... Realizing what is about to happen, Amethio instantly jumps in front of the beated down Pokémon Trainer, confronting Spinel and protecting Liko, even if it means, he is going to get hurt next...
