Eda, her mother, kept several secrets from her-some concerning her own curse, others related to Y/N's other biological parent, and a few harmless lies intended to protect her daughter. Above all, Eda would do whatever it took to keep Y/N safe from the Emperor and his coven, allowing her daughter to be herself while shielding her from an unknown threat that loomed over them. Then one day, a human stumbled into their lives, altering their paths forever. Will Y/N uncover the truth about her other parent? Will Eda's worst fears for her daughter come to pass?
