Will Byers moved from Madison Wisconsin to Hawkins Indiana when his mom got back with his dad for the money. Will was less than excited as the prospect of having to leave his few friends and move in with his abusive father but there was nothing he could do. He goes so school expecting it to be bad but it ends up being worse than just bad, it was terrible. Luckily his new friend Mike Wheeler helps him through it. Will quickly gains a crush on Mike but holds it in as it's the 1980s and he thinks Mike is straight. Mike thought he was straight to, until he met Will and things started to change.

Will Byers falls inlove with his bestfriend Mike Wheeler. The only problem is Mike is straight and has a girlfriend. Will has to hide his true self from the world out of fear of anyone finding out the truth. Things go downhill fast
