Playtime. Co. never tired of creating toys with the incredible utility of delighting children. Among them is the Smiling Critters (1992). We've all seen their smiley adventures, but did you know there was a Valentine's Day special? No? Well, what are you waiting for? (The previous description was removed for no reason.)

Reborn in a new place alongside everyone who was once his friend, and whom he ultimately ended up murdering. Received with violence, yet causing doubt and discord, completely unaware of the obsession he was beginning to spark in those who didn't want him alive. A bit twisted; what will happen next? Even I don't know...

Dogday had the biggest responsibility he could imagine; taking care of and keeping his friends in check. Every day went smoothly, with a carefully implemented routine that everyone followed. But after Dogday began to feel like he was prioritizing his job over his friends, he decided to spend more time with each of them. After spending time restoring bonds with all of them he came down to the all reclusive Catnap, where he found out that they had more in common than met the eye, a LOT more in common.

Life is ordinary for the Smiling Critters. DogDay is being his silly self, and CatNap is being...well, he's being CatNap. But when tragedy strikes, panic unfolds. And its up to CatNap, the antisocial, sleepy, mysterious critter, to get to the bottom of it and figure out how it happened. But can he do it? Or are the smiling critters doomed? Without DogDay's loyalty and leadership, it'll be hard for CatNap to manage on his own without his best friend. But CatNap's life, and everyone in it, depends on him.

Dogday had once been a captive in the cruel world of dogfighting, sold to callous individuals who thrived on violence. Despite his strong build and fierce exterior, he longed for a life free from the horrors of the pit. His fate took a dramatic turn when a whimsical purple cat named Catnap appeared on the scene, accompanied by determined police officers and a team of SWAT members. Together, they launched a daring operation to dismantle the fighting rings and liberate the dogs, rescuing Dogday and many others from their bleak existence. Catnap, with his vibrant fur and playful demeanor, brought Dogday to a cozy home filled with warmth and companionship, sharing the space with his caring girlfriend and an eclectic group of furry friends. Yet, despite his newfound safety, Dogday remained cautious and skeptical. Trust did not come easily for him after the traumas he had experienced. Everything changed when he met Craftycorn, a kind-hearted female unicorn struggling with a grave illness caused by kidney failure. With her shimmering coat and gentle spirit, Craftycorn resonated with a familiarity that stirred something deep within Dogday. As they bonded over their trials, he felt the walls around his heart begin to crack. Would this brave unicorn, facing her own battles, be the key to helping Dogday reclaim the joy he had lost? As Dogday worried about Craftycorn's fate, he found himself torn between despair and hope. Would she receive the new kidneys she desperately needed to embrace life once more, or would he have to face the possibility of losing yet another friend? In the depths of his uncertainty, Dogday began to understand that perhaps trust could be built through shared struggles, giving him the courage to open up and heal alongside Craftycorn. Catnap and Dogday were enjoying there time watching one of Hoppys football matches when Catnaps fears come to pass as he and dogday are in direct line of sight of the one thing he's afraid of the most "The Kiss Cam"

Dogday is the loyal, brave and sunshine leader of The Smiling Critters, recently he's been out of sorts. He has faint dark circles under his eyes and he's been forcing his smile to hard lately. Catnap the co-leader of the smiling group has picked up on symptoms of something darker in Dogday then just tiredness.

It's the first day of Catnaps junior year. After being homeschooled his whole life, he's ready to face high school. Little does he know, he's already made a rival with the most popular boy in his year. Facing family issues and backstabbing "friends", will Catnap find a happy ending? Or will high school destroy him?
