This is just an idea that popped into my head when I was watching the playthrough of Chapter 5, and it wouldn't go away until I wrote something. I drew the cover image myself. You are <Name> Castle, the child of one of the doctors who worked at Playtime Co. You don't exactly see eye to eye, and between your mother's cruel, secretive nature and a peculiar note you found in the trash, you embark on a dangerous journey to uncover the truth, not really caring what happens to you along the way. Things to note- -The reader's gender is intentionally left ambiguous for the sake of everyone getting to insert themselves as the character(I don't want anyone to feel excluded because of their gender). -Many events will be altered or even outright changed. -Made-up lore. -The reader struggles with depression and low self-esteem, which is a major thing for some parts of the story. -Any physical description I give the reader will be for a reason. -This may not suit the personality of every reader out there. Still, I hope this is okay. -There will be many triggering things in the story(blood, gore, death, depressing themes, abuse, just to name a few). -There are OCs that will be in the story as part of the reader's background before they enter the facility. -There may be references to other things. -I will refrain from using Y/N, as I can't take it seriously and only associate it with the Y/N x CEO memes. Instead, I will use <Name>. -I will make mistakes. This is my first ever fanfiction beyond scenario/headcanon books, so, please, bear with me. -Every part will begin with communication indicators. -This is a fanfiction and should not be treated as an alternative to canon. Since I'm more of a pacifist at heart, I thought when first watching a playthrough of Poppy Playtime... "What if there was a way to make the toys like you?" So that's what I'm doing. Like in the regular game, you're an Ex-employe of Platime Co. returning to the old factory after everyone disappeared 10 years prior.
