Ian has always had one goal and one goal only-to get drafted for the National Hockey League. Nothing has ever thrown him off course from this, except for one boy from his past who he used to do figure skating with.
Finn never liked hockey. The only reason he joined the team was to look at cute guys, start some fights on the ice (because it looked fun), and to learn more about the boy who mysteriously left figure skating class one day years ago and never returned.
When Ian gets tasked with training Finn so that they can actually be a decent team and get to nationals this year, they rediscover their mutual love for figure skating, despite Ian's dad forcing him to stop years ago, and Ian finds himself regretting ever leaving it for ice hockey.
Despite refusing to ever allow himself to fall in love ever again, Finn gets dangerously close to breaking that boundary.
The closer they get to nationals, the more their bond grows, and the more Ian finds himself distracted from this goal he had set years ago, because of the boy who brought back a spark in Ian he thought he'd lost forever.
Now, Ian has to make the decision whether he wants to keep this newfound bond, or risk losing it forever for something they might not even win anyway.
