Derek Hale is a new professor at Beacon Hills University, and he cannot stand one of his students, Stiles. It's like the guy was put in Derek's class just to make him miserable. He's a smart-ass, doesn't take anything seriously, and is always disrupting class. But there's a fine line between passionate hatred and passionate lust, and Derek ends up walking across it like a tightrope with his bad decisions.

It's been about a year since the nogitsune and the death of Allison Argent.
