And if that's not hard enough, Clara runs into her own spot of trouble with a Soviet spy who finds Clara's information about the future incredibly valuable. With Clara gone for who knows how long, it's up to Steve and Bucky to work out just who this Agent 14 really is and why she's here. The problems Clara faces in the past span right the way back to the present, even the future. A trip to the past might just explain to Clara why everyone seems to think she was a founder of S.H.I.E.L.D but it can't explain why Agent 14 seems to know everything that's going to happen before it does. The past holds many of the answers Clara is looking for, but the future will reveal a great deal more.

Third in the Timeline series | After being told she was the infamous Agent 4, that every S.H.I.E.L.D agent thought was a rumour, Clara decides to get back in the field. Her old boss, and presumed dead, Phil Coulson guides her as she reunites with old friend Steve Rogers as their mutual friend Bucky Barnes resurfaces, as friend or foe, they can't be certain. After everything they've been through, Clara can only hope that it's the same Bucky she remembers from all those years ago, but all she truly wants if for him to remember her back. It's not easy trying to reconnect with a past love when your own friends are against you. Maybe what she needs is to go back to where it all began, if only she could go back to the 40s, when everything seemed simpler.

It's time for Clara, Captain America and friends to take the law into their own hands. It's finally time for Clara to take revenge against the man with the metal arm who left her for dead all those years ago. But she can't take revenge against the man she fell in love with. When push comes to shove, will Clara do the right thing?

Clara Lewis: S.H.I.E.L.D agent, New Yorker, accidental time traveller- wait what?! Clara thought being a S.H.I.E.L.D agent made her life as crazy as it would get. Ever since her accident in the field, she'd become a desk agent but working as Phil Coulson's 'personal assistant' meant life was never dull. Especially when none other than Captain America resurfaces and Clara has to deal with Phil's incessant fangirling. But something's up. Why does Captain America know her name when they've never met before? Clara knew Steve Roger's arrival would change everything but she never thought it would change for the worst. Her boss is shot by a rogue asgardian prince- great. Then Clara is suddenly dragged back into the field again- even better. She had kept a low profile for two years yet they'd found her again. The man who she hadn't seen since her accident, since he shot her and left her for dead; the man with the metal arm. So Clara did what she had been trained to do: go and hide in a S.H.I.E.L.D safehouse until the threat was gone. It just so happens that the nearest safehouse contains more secrets than Clara was willing to uncover. To get to the bottom of all the Captain America nonsense and whoever this metal armed assassin is, she'd have to go back in time. And we all know that's not possible. Right?

"How did you do that!?" - "I think it's pretty clear it's because I'm freaking magic!" On the first of October, 1989, 43 women around the world gave birth. Nothing about these pregnancies were out of the ordinary except that when the day started, they were not pregnant, which is extraordinary. And the fact that these children were all born with supernatural powers, which is incredibly extraordinary. Eccentric billionaire, Sir Reginald Hargreeves made it his mission to locate and train these children. He got seven of them: Luther, Diego, Allison, Klaus, Number Five, Ben and Vanya. They formed the Umbrella Academy. Elena Romero was a normal girl that hadn't discovered what, if anything, was extraordinary about her. The only thing worth noting is her amazing ability to suffer through hellish dates and live with an over-dramatic mother and an addict of a brother. Some could say her super power was making her dysfunctional family appear functional. She was the glue that held her family together, she was their remedy. "I'm not mad." ------ Cassandra Hargreeves- or Number Eight as her father always called her- was the eighth member of the Umbrella Academy. Despite having powers, she had spent her whole life on the sidelines. She had been trained to fight, of course, but having the power of predicting the future was never going to be useful in a fight. Sir Reginald Hargreeves never allowed her to go on missions with her other siblings with powers. But her power was stronger than he knew. Cassandra's visions haunted her and the one place she could never escape them was in her dreams. She would wake up screaming in the night, rambling about a forthcoming apocalypse that her father brushed off as nonsense. He told her that she'd merely grow out of these nightmares. And it seemed as if she did. As she grew up, her power grew with her. The older she got the more appalled she became by the images of destruction and chaos she saw. Try as she might to warn the others, however much she begged Five not leave her behind or how much she pleaded with Ben to just sit one mission out, no one ever listened to her... until it was too late. She saw the chaos of the apocalypse and this time she was going to make them believe.
