The air was thick with tension as Wonwoo found himself walking down the aisle towards an uncertain future. Mingyu, his new husband, stood at the altar, his icy demeanor radiating a cold indifference that seemed to permeate the room. Wonwoo's heart pounded in his chest as he approached, his mind racing with a mixture of fear and anticipation. As he reached the altar, Wonwoo swallowed hard, his throat feeling dry and constricted. Mingyu's eyes locked onto his, their gaze like a sharp, steely knife, cutting through any pretense of warmth or affection. Wonwoo had harbored a secret crush on Mingyu for eight years, yet his feelings went unnoticed as Mingyu had a girlfriend. However, unforeseen circumstances led to their arranged marriage. "What happens next as Wonwoo and Mingyu embark on this unexpected journey in their arranged marriage?"

Awards: Cupid mini award 2026 best Title winner🏆 They said a red string ties soulmates together. Invisible. Unbreakable. Inevitable. Wonwoo never believed in it. Love, destiny, soulmates, all sounded like theories people made when reality hurt too much. He believed in logic, late-night studies, silence, and keeping his heart locked somewhere no one could reach. Seokmin believed in love like it was oxygen. Too loud. Too honest. Too hopeful. He loved easily, laughed easily, and fell hardest of all. They didn't try to find each other. They just... did. Between medical textbooks, late-night breakdowns, jealousy, distance, mistakes, feverish confessions, long-distance calls, rough apologies, and soft forgiveness, the red string kept pulling them back together. No matter how hard they resisted. Around them was chaos disguised as friendship. Mingyu, the loud idiot with a soft heart, loved Seungcheol like it was war and peace at the same time. Seungcheol, steady and terrifyingly devoted, who would burn the world quietly if it meant protecting what was his. Joshua, the observer with a sharp tongue, pretending he didn't care while caring the most. And Seungkwan, all honesty and emotions, cursing everyone while loving them fiercely. They grew up together. They broke each other. They healed together. And somewhere between jealousy and laughter, distance and devotion, they learned that love isn't gentle. It's chosen. Every single time. ~ Signature Dialogues Wonwoo: "I don't believe in fate... but I believe in you. And that's worse." Seokmin: "I loved you even when you made it hard. Especially then." Mingyu: "If loving him is a mistake, I'll happily fuck it up again." Seungcheol: "I don't raise my voice. I end arguments." Joshua: "I'm surrounded by idiots... unfortunately, they're my idiots." Seungkwan: "This is not a friend group, this is a crime scene."

Some encounters don't announce themselves. They trip you on the way in, steal your balance, and then laugh while you're still on the floor. Seokmin fell in love at first sight. Not metaphorically. Not poetically. His brain shut down, his heart panicked, and his soul went, Oh no. One look was all it took-for bad decisions, unnecessary hope, and a lifetime supply of optimism he absolutely did not ask for. Joshua Hong never looked back. He lived by order-calendars color-coded, emotions neatly filed under irrelevant, and people categorized as either useful or background. When he passed Seokmin, he acknowledged the existence of a human being and continued forward. Efficient. Clean. Unbothered. Seokmin, unfortunately, took this as a challenge. He followed cheerfully. Casually. With the confidence of someone who believed love could be negotiated through persistence, jokes, and excellent timing. He chased while pretending he wasn't chasing, smiled while being ignored. There were confessions. So many dramatic moments. And one man sprinting emotionally while another walking away at a respectable, unhurried pace- completely unaware that he'd already been signed up for a problem like Seokmin.
