**sequel to Flightless** It's been three years since Ashton last saw Niles, and he can't get the human out of his head. So, when an unexpected opportunity presents itself, Ashton immediately jumps on the chance to go back to Niles- this time to stay. Niles has kept himself busy the last few years. Now a professor at a local university in addition to working at the faerie clinic, he hasn't had much time to wonder about his former patient. But when Ashton suddenly appears back in his life with the request to help him learn how to be human, Niles bewilderingly takes him in. Now stuck together, no longer as doctor and patient, Niles and Ashton try to navigate and create a new type of relationship- though Ashton seems to want... something more?

Niles knows a lot about faeries. As a doctor who specializes in treating fae, he's become a leading expert in his field. But when a new patient crosses his path, a hybrid faerie named Ashton, even he begins to doubt his ability to help this patient. Ashton doesn't know where he is or how long he's been away from home. Tyler is waging war against his roommate. A quiet engineering student, Ren won't give Tyler the time of day- unless it's to tell him to turn his music down. Tyler doesn't know what he's done to deserve the cold shoulder, but he figures if he's going to be disliked, he might as well properly earn it. So, Tyler goes all out: dishes in the sink, laundry on the couch, loud laughter and even louder friends. But despite his obnoxious bids for attention, Tyler can't seem to make Ren notice him... until one eventful winter break, when Tyler forgets to take his medication... and shrinks. Stuck at his size until he can get a refill on his prescription, Tyler suddenly finds himself relying on Ren for, well, everything. ...what's the worst that could happen?

Enzo is just doing his best. Forced to leave his home at 15 years old, he's done everything he can over the last seven years to ensure that he and his little brother Harper can survive on their own. Unfortunately, surviving is hard when you're only a few inches tall, and Enzo can't remember the last time he's felt truly safe. Even though he and Harper live comfortably in the apartment walls of a human named Luca, Enzo is constantly worried about being discovered. But Luca is not as oblivious to his house guests as he appears to be, and Enzo learns this the hard way when an accident forces the unlikely roommates into meeting face to face.

Ying'an works as a servant for a giant regarded on the same level of a god. Despite having the qualities that define a god, Ying'an can't help but feel... That the god was more human that he had thought. Were humans made in God's image, or is God defined by an ultimately flawed human perception of the divine? You know the gist. A rock falls from the sky, and then SOMETHING comes out of it, yadda yadda. But for this story - it isn't exactly fake... per say... But it might be a bit less extreme? Maybe a bit smaller?
