Lines We Cross is a queer slow-burn romance set in the glossy, ruthless world of modern-day Hollywood-where fame is currency, image is everything, and the heart is the last thing you're allowed to protect. Daniela Avanzini is a rising actress whose breakout role in an intimate indie film has the press circling-and the queer internet buzzing. She's sultry, calculated, and used to controlling every angle of her narrative. But when her team suggests a bold PR move to keep her momentum going-fake dating a quiet, up-and-coming singer named Manon-Daniela agrees. Not because she's sure of herself, but because she's not sure at all. Manon Bannerman doesn't crave the spotlight. She's thoughtful, composed, and emotionally reserved-a stark contrast to the Hollywood chaos Daniela thrives in. When the offer comes to be part of a faux relationship with one of the most desirable actresses in the industry, Manon says yes... for the visibility, the career jump, and maybe, secretly, out of curiosity. But as public appearances start to blur with private moments, and the performance begins to feel less like a lie, both women are forced to confront what they've been running from-desire, vulnerability, and the fear that maybe what's fake is becoming something real. Stylish, intimate, and emotionally fraught, Lines We Cross explores the complicated intersection of fame, queerness, and the unspoken tension between two women who were never supposed to want each other-but do.

Daniela is the wild one, the party girl who fills their apartment with laughter, music, and the occasional stranger's shoes. But under the quiet rhythm of their days, Manon hides a truth she's never said aloud-she's in love with her best friend. She tells herself she can live with it. She said she wanted to move out yesterday, so I told her we have a one month notice here, but she wasn't having none of that, said she couldn't wait another month. So she just paid me a month of rent to settle the notice, packed up her stuff and left late last night. Complicated girl that one."
