Sometimes, getting the wrong person's attention doesn't require much. And Ezra is the perfect example, as a simple ignoring act happened to be enough. Such a small act, for a so terrible mistake.
However, mistakes breed consequences, and feelings had to get involved in the equation, as the one who they were destined to make Ezra realise that Hell doesn't necessarily wait for death before beginning.

/!\ A bunch of TW in there, like abuse and discrimination (complete list in the foreword), so I don't recommend this story to anyone who has a fragile mind (I don't mean it disrespectfully)
