"Aye, don't bring out no more bullshit ass dancers. I need two more girls by tomorrow or I'm screwed. I can't miss this opportunity man. " Chris exclaimed as the last group of dancers entered the stage. Every dancer had to perform a self choreographed ninety second routine. "Chill out bro, Rahkim said he saved the best for last." It sounded like Braxton was trying to convince himself that more than he was trying to convince Chris. "Yeah whatever man, let's just get this over with." Chris slouched with boredom in his seat. "Dancer 205, you're up Shawty." Rahkim called over the microphone. Dance For You by Beyoncé begins to blast through the speakers as Essence walked to the "X" on the stage. She takes a deep breath and begins to immediately lose herself in the music. She danced gracefully as she imagined that she was Beyoncé herself in her own little music video. She pictured herself alone, with nothing but her speaker and camera. Her eyes closed as she used her body instrument to illustrate her meaning of the song. Dancing was a way for her to feel free. She used dance as a way to communicate who she really was. What her mouth couldn't say, her body definitely could and she knew how to make others crave for more. Chris could not take his eyes off her. He could not shake the sense of familiarity with her. He's seen her somewhere but can't make out where. His heart immediately began to race. He completely forgot that others existed in that moment, all he saw was her. Her long and thick curls, her beautiful brown skin, her curvy hips, her full two toned lips. God, was she a sight to see. What intrigued him the most is that, she wasn't trying to throw herself at him. She was using her body to tell a story. A story that he never wanted to end. He knew in that moment that she was the one. "That's enough. Thank you number 205. You can step off the X now." Essence was immediately brought back to reality. She quickly exited the stage and sat with the others.

"What I got to do to get some pussy?" I asked her and she just stared at me. "We're back to this shit." She said rolling her eyes and I chuckled. "I'm for real let a nigga know." I told her sitting up looking into her eyes which sat low cuh she was fucked up. "30 days." She said and I looked at her confused. "What?" "Show me your worth my pussy." She said leaving me still confused and I guess she knew cuh she went on. "No kissing, feeling, or no sexual intercourse with me or any other bitch for 30 days." She told me making me laugh. "I'm serious." She said as I still laughed. "Is yo shit even that good?" I asked her already knowing the answer. "Hell yeah if it wasn't you wouldn't have ate it and still came back for more." She said and I chuckled and shook my head thinking about this shit. "So a month with no pussy or head from Nobody? And if I do, I can do whatever I want to you?" I asked her then bitting my bottom lip thinking about it. "Yep." She said nodding her head and poring us both shots. "Deal." I told her and she smiled. I grabbed my shot and we tapped our shots together then threw them down our throat.

Khiari has spent years trapped in a cycle of fear, pain, and manipulation at the hands of Shakir- the man she once loved but now barely recognizes. Every day is a battle to survive, a careful game of silence and obedience to avoid his explosive wrath. But when a violent altercation leaves her in a three-day coma, something shifts. Shakir, consumed by guilt and desperation, swears to change. He promises himself he'll be better, that he'll make things right. But promises mean nothing to Khiari anymore. As soon as she's strong enough, she escapes, determined to build a new life far from his grasp. Alone and running on borrowed time, Khiari crosses paths with a stranger-someone who sees the pain she hides beneath quiet stares and cautious movements. Someone willing to help her, even when she doesn't believe she deserves it. But the past doesn't let go so easily. Shakir isn't finished with her. His love is a sickness, an obsession, and he won't stop until he gets her back-even if it means dragging her down with him. With her freedom hanging by a thread, Khiari must decide: keep running, or finally face the nightmare that's haunted her for too long.
