A collection of poems written on my free time, they are mostly all free-style so stanzas and patterns may not always add up exactly but I assure you it staggers the quality hardly at best. I believe a poem can tell you a lot about a person, their inner most thoughts, deepest desires, fears, what drives them, what terrifies them. . . I think we could all learn a lot about each other if we took the time to explore the dusty parts of our own minds. Maybe you'll find we aren't all that different after all. I'll be updating frequently, as I'm inspired easily.
Thanks for the memories by SuicidalLovesong

On an island off the coast of Japan, long long ago, a tribe whom worshiped the Sun God and Moon Goddess, raised the perfect priests to bring them good luck and fortune, to be sacrificed of course. When someone of nobility, or catches the eye of Death himself they are beckoned to Reaper Hollows to choose between becoming a reaper, or going on to judgement and a normal afterlife. But sometimes they don't always get a choice, if you're a Word-Key that is. . .

A short narrative I wrote for school based on experiences I had as a little girl, switched the names around a bit. In this short story you'll meet Elena, a eleven (to twelve) year old girl in the AWANA program at her church. Being home schooled she struggles to fit in, desperately wanting a friend. Instead she is greeted with a cold slap in the face of reality, Jessica. A rotten bully, out to give hard working Elena a hard time.

One one-thousand. They take what they want. Who they want. No one is safe, no one is secure. When They come, They take. Loyalties gone, loves lost, a world swiped away with a scream. Two one-thousand. When They come, They take. Sadness, sacrifice, a way of life, vanished. Choices strung together like linen on the line. Three one-thousand. It takes one moment for life to change, one second, one choice that changes your world, your planet. A blink and everything has shifted. Four one-thousand. One second can define you, mold you, make you. One second and you are gone. Taken. One of Us.

October 31st wasn't always referred to as "Halloween". In old English it was known as All-Hallows Eve, the night before All-Saints Day, the night when demons, witches, and warlocks could roam the earth along with man. These are their stories.
