This story takes place after season 3 episode 10 mama binturong. Im writting this story for two reasons: First I love lion guard one, of my favorite shows, and because I love the lion king. Second I'm dying waiting for the next epsiodes to come out so writing this makes me feel better. When Kion is faced with a mysterious illness, Queen Rani becomes depressed at the fact that the one she loves might die and is unable to attend her royal duties. With the crown entrusted to her close friend, Fuli does her best to keep the Rani and Kion's kingdom at peace. One night Rani runs away to be alone but the next morning she is found dead. All animals turn to Fuli to guidance but she can barely cope with the death of her friend as she desperately tries to find a way to save Kion which can only be found in her memories. The pair must take on the challenge of leading the kingdom without Rani for neither of them can do it alone. They must overcome any challenge they are faced with as well as learn to work together as a king and queen should. Despite the many challenges, Kion and Fuli try to hide any unwanted feeling towards the other as well as their friends as they soon discover the cause of Rani's death is more than what meets the eye.

This takes place during season 1. Fuli has a problem with dealing with her past, and Kion wants to help her. But along the way they fall for each other. But another girl has also fallen for Kion, and would do anything to be with him.

Fuli was just an ordinary cheetah cub living an ordinary cheetah life with her ordinary cheetah mother and sister. But one day, tragedy strikes, leaving her all alone. Taking pity on the now orphaned cub, Simba takes her into his pride. From there, her life takes a turn as she makes new friends and goes on exciting new adventures.

Kion loves Fuli. But he isn't sure if she feels the same. When he asks her, Fuli does the unthinkable: she says NO. Kion swears to make her love him. If Fuli won't, well, then Kion will just have to burn down the world for her....and take over the Pridelands with Scar and some jackals. But that's just a bonus. Kion is forced to return to his homeland and sacrifice his happiness for the sake of peace. The one thing that can prevent a war is a betrothal between the Prideland Prince and the Cheetah Coalition Heiress. "Everything I do is for the Kingdom".

After a tragic misunderstanding tears them apart, Kion is lost to the world, presumed dead. Years later, he returns under a new name, scarred, stronger, and hiding from his past... until fate leads him back to the Tree of Life-and to Rani. Enemies rise from the haze, love rekindles in silence, and long-buried truths threaten to change everything. He was never supposed to return. She never stopped waiting.
