Now, she hopes to make both her moms proud by fulfilling her promise of becoming Japan's top racer. Though she may falter along the way, her indomitable spirit ensures that she runs ever forward." This is a rewrite of Special Week's racing career from season 1 of the anime but generally more grounded and with changes and tweaks. The tone is closer to the shonen and seinen genre, a sports-drama, like the Cinderella Gray series but not really a sequel nor a follow up of it, and the characters might be tweaked with their characterizations. Three years after the Lighthouse War, Erusea continues the process of rebuilding along with its neighbors. Unfortunately, the Radicals see the fragile nation as an opportunity to overthrow the Monarchy and re-establish Erusea as the powerful military dictatorship it once was.

This story follows the perspective of a young Erusean fighter pilot from his flight training to when he joins the Erusean Air and Space Administration's Sol Squadron and takes part in his first major conflict: The Lighthouse War. I wrote this story back when I first started my Archive of Our Own account about two years ago.
