He saved a world that forgot him, only to return to a kingdom marching blindly toward its doom. At fifteen, Link walks out of the mist of the Lost Woods and into the barracks of the Hyrulean Royal Guard, a ghost in a green tunic carrying the silent traumas of Termina. With fragmented nightmares pointing toward an unyielding darkness stirring in the desert, he takes up a soldier's steel, standing as the kingdom's invisible shield. But a hero cannot outrun a broken soul. As the years bleed away and the heavy weight of an ornate iron armor binds him to a dying duty, Link fights a losing war against time itself. Before the twilight claims him, the greatest swordsman in Hyrule's history must face his final, agonizing truth: some legends do not live to see the dawn-they simply fade into the fog, waiting for someone strong enough to carry the blade.

𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘰𝘯𝘦 π˜ͺ𝘯 𝘡𝘩𝘦 'The Wolf' 𝘴𝘦𝘳π˜ͺ𝘦𝘴 New town. New family. New secrets. For foster kid Link Ordon, moving from the quiet countryside to the sprawling, neon-lit streets of Hyrule City was supposed to be a fresh start. All he wants is to keep his head down, help his new adoptive family, and survive his senior year at Hyrule High. But a guy with Link's raw talent doesn't stay invisible for long. Within weeks, he's accidentally dethroned the school's elitist fencing captain, secured a spot as the baseball team's secret weapon, and caught the eye of the untouchable Student Council President, Zelda Hyrule. Zelda is high-society perfection, but behind closed doors, she's suffocating under the thumb of a corrupt underground student syndicate that runs the city from the shadows-led by the cruel and calculating Zant. When the syndicate crosses the line and targets someone from Link's past, the quiet country boy has to fight dirty. By day, he's the school's star athlete trying to balance the expectations of a perfect princess and the pull of his hometown sweetheart, Ilia. By night, he throws on a black motorcycle helmet and a jagged shadow-crystal necklace, entering the city's gritty underbelly as an underground vigilante known only as "The Wolf." Guided by Midna, a cynical alt-girl outcast who knows exactly how ruthless Zant can be, Link is about to play a dangerous double game. But in a city ruled by blackmail and shadows, one wrong move will expose the beast behind the mask-and ruin everyone he's trying to protect. Welcome to the Twilight District. Watch your back.

In this sequel to Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, Princess Zelda, anxious to finish the restoration of the miniature guardian Terrako, eagerly awaits the return of Link, who has for months been deployed to the cold region of Hebra and now holds the final piece to restoring the little knight. But though the calamity is gone, darkness is brewing in distant lands. Reunited once more, the princess and her loyal knight set out to face a threat that will push them to their limits. Together they must conquer their demons and face their destinies, lest the dark power overtake them and consume them all. ... This story is set about one year after the events of the game, and heavily incorporates elements of that, as well as other LOZ games. As Majora's Mask was the first 3D Zelda game I ever played, this is a love letter to that work, as well as to the wild era games. For the past ten months, I have worked extremely hard to bring this tale to life, struggling late into the night and even praying for help as I've crafted each element of the story. I hope you enjoy it! *I do not own any of the characters or cover art in this fan fiction, which is meant solely for entertainment purposes. All rights to Nintendo. CONTENT ADVISORY: There is no smut in this story, but there are descriptions of things such as blood, dead bodies, skeletons and other monsters that may be frightening for younger readers. A big shout out to my wonderful wife who patiently listened to every chapter. Thanks for being my best friend. :) Dedicated to the Giver of all good things.
