For decades, Joel and Lizzie had been inseparable. Through every adventure, every argument, and every quiet moment in between, they always found their way back to each other. But on one storm-filled night, everything nearly came to an end. With Lizzie in labor and the rain turning the roads dangerous, Joel pushed the car faster and faster, desperate to get her to the hospital in time. Then came the crash. Twisted metal. Shattered glass. Silence. They should not have survived. Yet somehow, a stranger appeared in the middle of the storm-pulling them from the wreckage and getting them to the hospital before it was too late. Lizzie survived. Their baby survived. And by the time Joel was able to ask questions, the mysterious rescuer had vanished without a trace. But Joel can't let it go. Neither can Lizzie. Because no one seems to know who saved them that night... or how they disappeared so completely. And the deeper they dig into the mystery, the more impossible the truth begins to seem.

Etho was a wanderer, drifting from place to place, never staying long enough to leave a mark or to make one. Since childhood, life had been a constant blur of new towns, unfamiliar faces, and friendships that faded before they even began. His parents' relentless moves made each new city blend into the next, a series of temporary homes that never felt like home. When he arrived in this city, he expected more of the same-a brief stay in someone else's world. But this place was different. Unbeknownst to him, the people he was about to meet and the secrets this city held would change everything he thought he knew about belonging.

Scar, a 19-year-old trainee cop, chases a suspect from a bank robbery through a narrow alley late at night. The criminal-who looks disturbingly close to Scar's own age-takes a sharp corner and vanishes without explanation, leaving Scar unsettled. The disappearance feels wrong, especially given rumors that the Yakuza have begun moving into the area, dangerously close to schools and young adults. Dispatch radios Scar, clearly relieved to hear he's alive, and orders him back to the station. His partner, Cub, picks him up, teasing him gently during the quiet drive as Scar sulks over losing the suspect. Upon arriving at the station, Scar expects to be yelled at-but instead, he's met with pitying looks from other officers, which only deepens his anxiety. Scar and Cub are called into their boss's office, where they're informed of a covert assignment. The department needs someone young enough to go undercover at a local college, and Scar is the only agent who fits. The boss reveals the target: Grian, a tired-looking 19-year-old suspected to be the son of a Yakuza family head. Scar's role will be to pose as a college student and become Grian's roommate. Cub protests, calling the plan reckless and unfair given Scar's age and inexperience. In response, the boss explains why Grian is so important: his presence coincides with unexplained failures in Yakuza operations. The department believes Grian is either being unknowingly used-or quietly sabotaging the organization from within. Either way, he's a critical variable. The mission hinges on one thing above all else: Grian has to trust Scar. And Scar realizes that this assignment isn't just dangerous-it may be tied to the mysterious criminal who vanished in the alley, and it will test everything he thinks he knows about justice, loyalty, and himself.

Martyn was born blind and has always relied heavily on his hearing to navigate and understand the world around him. He walks with a cane, and his eyes are always closed-he doesn't even know what color they are, nor has he ever thought to ask. For him, the world has always been cloaked in darkness. That began to change when he discovered a small spark of magic within himself. With time and practice, he learned to use it to "paint" mental images of people and places in his mind. Through subtle differences in tone, mood, and cadence, he could distinguish colors-hearing the warmth of a sunset in a laugh, or the chill of blue in a hushed whisper. Over the years, he also honed his ability to read body language-not through sight, but through sound. The shifting of feet, the rhythm of someone's breath, the way fabric brushed against itself as someone turned-all of it became a symphony of cues that told him what others could see with their eyes. Martyn often kept to himself, sitting quietly in the corner of a room with a Braille book in his hands, lost in the raised dots beneath his fingers. Most people didn't approach him. Whether it was discomfort or uncertainty, he had grown used to being left alone. But that all changed the day a new transfer student joined the theater program. Curious and unafraid, they noticed Martyn sitting by himself and, rather than shy away, felt drawn to him. For the first time in a long while, Martyn's quiet world began to shift-not just with sound and magic, but with the unexpected rhythm of connection.

They say legends don't die - they just vanish when the world no longer deserves them. That's how it was with Xelqua. The best racer anyone had ever seen - no, felt. You didn't just watch him drive; you felt it in your bones, in the way the air seemed to bend around him and the roads turned to liquid silver under his tires. Some called him reckless, others called him untouchable, but everyone agreed on one thing: Xelqua wasn't human behind that wheel. He could thread through traffic like wind through the trees, drift around corners at impossible angles, and leave the competition choking on the echo of his engine. They say he raced not for fame, not for money, but because the road called to him - like it was alive, whispering only his name. Then came the night of the accident. No one knows exactly what happened. Some say his car caught fire mid-race, others whisper he went off-road chasing something no one else could see. When the smoke cleared, there was nothing left. No wreck. No body. Just tire marks that ended in dust. Since then, people have been arguing - did he retire? Did he die? Or did he simply become one with the machine, driving roads the rest of us will never see? All I know is this: his car, that sleek midnight racer they called Ghostline, vanished with him. Custom built, tuned to outrun anything on the ground - even the cops couldn't catch it. And trust me, they tried.
