Remy Hadley doesn't have the nerves for problems. Not for a missing coach. Not for a replacement she didn't ask for. And definitely not for a woman who looks at her like she's already figured her out. But when her coach disappears without a trace, Remy is forced to work with Eteri Tutberidze. Controlled, unreadable, and far too good at pushing every single one of her buttons. What starts as a temporary solution turns into something else entirely. Because people don't just vanish. And the deeper Remy digs, the clearer it becomes: Something is very, very wrong. Eteri is hiding something. The truth doesn't add up. And some secrets were never meant to be uncovered. Especially not the ones that come back with blood on their hands.

Yelizaveta Irina Sofiya Volkovitch, better known as Yana, is the granddaughter of the infamous Russian figure skating coach and choreographer Maria Tatjana Volkovitch. Yana has basically been raised on the ice and knew from a young age that she wanted to win Olympic Gold for Russia. Her grandmother dominated the national and international competition podiums with her skaters between 1970 and 2005. Among those skaters was also Eteri Tutberidze, who later became a very famous skating coach at the elite Russia state funded sports school Sambo-70 in Moscow. ~please keep in mind that a lot of this will be made up by me but it will hold a touch of reality~

Carmen's auburn hair is what stands out, but her grey eyes is what really pulls people in. Especially one specific blonde coach. Carmen has been skating since she was two years old, long before she understood what winning meant, when other things mattered than gold. Carmen's record speaks louder than words ever can, a few to name include, U.S. Junior National Champion, U.S. Senior Silver Medalist, ISU Junior Grand Prix Final Champion, World Junior Champion, Grand Prix Final medalist, European Championship medalist, and a consistent podium presence across international competitions. Every program, every score, every fall, documented, though rare. However her pain goes far beneath the surface. Far deeper than any blade could cut.
