High school isn't exactly easy. For some, it's all about grades. For others, it's about popularity. And for Yin... well, it's definitely about popularity. He's handsome, stylish, everyone knows his name, and yes-he's smooth with the girls. But ask him to solve a math problem? Suddenly, he's clueless. Then there's War. Smart. Polite. Shy. The kind of guy who'd rather stay in the library than be in the middle of a crowd. And he has a crush-a real, heart-thumping, can't-sleep crush-but no courage to even say hi properly. Two completely different worlds. One common goal: survival. For Yin, survival means passing classes. For War... survival means asking the girl of his dreams to prom without fainting. And somehow... they're about to help each other.

Rain poured outside the lawyer's office. War stared at the paper in front of him. MARRIAGE CONTRACT His fingers trembled. "Is this some kind of joke?" he asked quietly. Across the table sat Yin - calm, unreadable, and terrifyingly composed. "No," Yin said simply. "It's a business arrangement." War swallowed. "You'll pay all my debts... if I marry you?" Yin nodded. "One year." War looked at him carefully. "Why me?" For the first time, Yin's lips curved into something dangerous. "Because," he said softly, "you owe me your life." War frowned. "We've never even met." Yin leaned back in his chair. His dark eyes slowly locked onto War's. "Oh," he murmured. "We have." War's heart suddenly skipped. Because something in Yin's gaze felt like... this was never just a contract.

Yin Anan Wong was in his grandfather's study when the lawyer called him in. The room smelled faintly of old leather and polished wood - a scent that always reminded Yin of the man he had loved dearly. "Yin," the lawyer said carefully, placing a sealed envelope on the desk, "this is regarding your grandfather's last will." Yin's heart skipped. He had expected wealth, stocks, maybe the marketing firm... but nothing like this. The envelope contained a handwritten letter from his grandfather, addressed to him: "Yin, my life was saved by a brave man, Li. His grandson, War, must be honored for this. I ask you... marry him. Keep it discreet, but fulfill this promise as a mark of respect, of gratitude, of family honor. - Grandpa Wong" Yin stared at the words, blinking. His chest tightened. He loved his grandfather, and he couldn't refuse, no matter how awkward or impossible it seemed.
