After a boy named Romulus Terrell wakes up after a ten-year coma, he realizes that not only aliens or "Astronians," which is what the hospital staff that took care of him for so many years names them, but also that he has somehow developed extraordinary powers. After discovering these powers, he is taken to a training facility below the hospital, where he trains to fight Russians who have taken over his country, along with a boy named Lumen who also possesses extraordinary abilities. Soon enough, though, the boys realize nothing is as it seems, and the crossroads of the many so-called "destinies" and ambitions of the world begin to conflict with them, leading the two towards their own personal destinies... (This is a novella connecting to my main novel: Astron which comes out in a few years...)
