Neteyam X Oc The forest was my home. It's where I was born and where I was expected to meet my end. When we died we're sent back to our great mother, Eywa. Our bodies returned through nature while our souls rested in peace. I thought the forest was my home, but I was wrong. He was home. Disclaimer ( I only own Riti, There's a lot of dialogue that I used from the movie.)

Oneshot drabble based on a Neteyam x Reader Tumblr request I received with a prompt around your secret crush on your best friend's older brother and his secret crush back on you. Story snippet: Lo'ak's lips curled in a derisive snarl of his own, "You can't have her, bro. I won't let you. She's my best friend. I see the way you look at her, Neteyam. You want her for yourself." "This doesn't have to be a you or me situation." Neteyam reasoned, "My interest in her and your friendship are not mutually exclusive things." "No, you can't have her!" The words were spat from Lo'ak in a vicious growl, louder now than before. "That isn't your choice or mine, Lo'ak! It's hers! But I have every right to express my wish to court her!" Neteyam countered.
