It was January 23 1901 when Japan's Imperial family was long awaiting its news member of royal. As the moon over them covered their sky with lights of purple and pink the great emperor held his beloved wife as she did her best to give birth to their 3rd child. The castle was full of tension as the birth had became complicated and the moon over brought bad suppuration over the kingdom. Although not many knew of the reality of the demons awaiting behind the castle walls. A new demon slayer was to be born that haunting light. They called her Mitsuki, third in line for the Japanese throne, and first ever demon slayer of her family. As soon as she was born she brought shock to the woman that was to be called her mother. As all in the room looked at her shock settled into their hearts. The child was small, with ever shifting hair that turned from white to pink and later purple as if it was shifting in the light. Yet past that there was a mark behind her neck was a crescent moon shaped almost like a birth mark that shimmered as well sending confusion over both of her parents faces. Yet what happened when a very influential man comes to visit after hearing of the child. What if he decides to take her under his wing. After all his family is that one that protects people like yet... might as well give her a chance of survival. Yet what dose it all mean? Why was this child brought into this world as a Slayer? And where would it take her. None of these characters believe to me only my original character Mitsuki. The rest believe to their respective creator and author Koyoharu Gotoge. The air still moves, but not because of you. I remember the sound of your laughter more clearly than I do my own voice. The flow of the river carries everything away.. except the echo of your wings. Somewhere in the water, I still look for you. You were never meant to stay. I was never meant to save you. ··· The last flutter of your wings was the first fall of my world ··· ~ Where a butterfly once sat by the water... ~ She died so they could live.. She died so he could live for her.. He stayed alive.. but his soul died the moment the light vanished from those violet eyes.. In a world without eachother.. there was no point in existing... "Kocho.. no.. you can't leave me.. not now.. not ever.. please..." "Tomioka-san.. you have to live on.. for my sake..." And so he lived.. not for himself.. not at all.. but to keep her memory alive.. just so she could exist in a way.. even if only in his world... ─── ⋅ ∙ ∘ ☽ 𓇬 ☾ ∘ ⋅ ⋅ ─── Warning: Contains angst, slightly explicit. For sensitive readers: Contains severe graphic depictions, such as violence and self harm in later chapters and parts of the fanfic. The first half is basically just fluff. Note: None of the characters belong to me. All rights go to Koyoharu Gotōuge. I only own the storyline and plot of this fanfic. MANGA SPOILERS! Rengoku Kyojuro was supposed to die. But when fate bends and gives him a second chance, the world does not change all at once. It changes quietly, in small decisions, altered missions, and lives nudged just slightly off their original course. Giyuu Tomioka feels those changes more than anyone. As Rengoku moves forward with the fire he refuses to let die, Giyuu is forced to confront his own guilt, his silence, and the question he has avoided for years: whether he deserves to keep living at all. Updates: Weekly/Biweekly I do not own any of these characters, all the rights to the characters and Demon Slayer belong to Koyoharu Gotouge
