" fucking try me destiny." he growled fingers digging into her skin as he aggressively tugged at her jaw. 𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐘 𝐇𝐄𝐘𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃 never backs down, and 𝐑𝐀𝐅𝐄 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐎𝐍 never lets go. what starts as tension turns into something 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐫-something neither of them can escape.

Pendal is a beacon of light-a girl who always sees the good in everyone, her bubbly character capable of brightening the darkest days. Yet, her kind heart has endured its share of heartbreak, especially with a boyfriend too weak to defend her against his disapproving mother. She loved him anyway, clinging to the hope of a brighter future. Donald-a wealthy businessman who relocated to the States to oversee the launch of a new branch. Their worlds collide in a way neither of them could have foreseen, bound together by an incident shrouded in mystery and misunderstanding and a sudden marriage. Pendal, a stranger to him, somehow becomes a name on everyone's lips, a woman others claim is his lover. Their destinies are intertwined in ways that will reshape their lives forever. In the web of lies, deceit, and the echoes of an unexpected connection, they must decide: will they take control of their fate, or will they leave it to destiny to decide? He looked away and immediately brought his eyes back. "Oh, I wasn't avoiding that... I just don't know what best answer to give because look at me," he used a hand gesture. "Do you think I am physically strong enough to give the doctors a hard time? It is their fault if they can't understand what I want and what I don't want," he continued. "And I assume what you wanted is for them to not treat you anymore. Is that it? There is a 100% chance that you will walk again. You have to take that." "Marry me then!" "Excuse me, what???"
