Kai's been gone for 4 days. He left the monastery after an argument with his friends, and when he didn't return that day, the ninja looked for him all over Ninjago. Timeline not same as the show. It's totally different. --- No one knows what had happened to Kai right after the merge. They mostly just brushed it off as mystery. But occasionally, some of the ninja would ask him what happened, and he would just brush it off as "It's fine." The ninja know it's not fine. Every time Kai got asked that question or if the topic came up, he would just clam up. Wouldn't speak much. Wouldn't answer and change the subject most of the time. And if he did answer, it would just be short and irritated. But Nya senses Kai's hurt. He's traumatised, she thinks. Nya wants to find out. But the truth about Kai comes out sooner than he expected. ALL CHARACTERS BELONG TO LEGO NINJAGO In this story, Kai and Skylor are both friends because they spray paint together, but they don't know their real identities. They don't have any powers and are just normal teens. Nya and Skylor - 15 years old Kai - 16 years old i just realized how similar the plot is to miraculous ladybug oops. Small hook: Kai Smith was the coolest guy at Ninjago high, his sister, Nya, not so much. Kai was popular, funny and good looking. Nya focused on her studies and kept to her close-knit group of friends. [update: i originally wanted this to be about the siblings, but then changed it, thats why sky isnt in this hook thing]
