SAN MARTINEZ SERIES BOOK #1: Umeline Bethany Isaiah has one goal in life; to be so damn rich and live in a big place all by herself. All for the sake of acquiring the peace she always wanted, after growing up and living with a chaotic family of five. Born with a unique destinial luck, Umeline moves to a rural area away from the city she grew up in with the help of an old painting that caught her artistic interest. The mansion in the painting resides in the papertown called San Martinez, a famous ancestral tourist city in the Philippines. Here's the thing: living alone in a new environment can be both nerve-wrecking and exciting. Just when Umeline's independent life fantasies crash down to failure and hopelessness, a young and handsome man named Gean Marsh happened to be present. A painter from San Martinez whose works are internationally recognized, especially in Europe, and he who is Umeline's nearest neighbor. Little does Umeline know, what was supposedly a peaceful restart for her became a series of tapping into the edge of mortal living.
