Trapped. For two centuries, Astarion has been trapped. In a circumstance. Under the thumb of a master. Trapped between what he wants and what he has been commanded. But even when he finds himself infected with a mindflayer tadpole and dropped in a grove over a hundred miles from his captor, free from the debilitating effects of his curse, he still feels trapped. After running across a strange druid outside of Emerald Grove, he wonders if, maybe- just maybe- he can find a path to real freedom. Jalva left behind her roots as a druid long ago. An ex-soldier, a wanderer of Faerun, she returns to Baldur's Gate to find her way back into an upper-class social circle, hoping to find something to fill her monotonous days. But when she is abruptly captured and implanted with an Illithid tadpole, she finds all the excitement she wants and more, including in the form of a familiar face.

(Name) just got into the Baldur's Gate Fandom at the start of 2026. The world was going to shit, and it became her hyperfixation. She wakes up in a pod and gets a friendly little parasite in her eye. She realizes that she is now Tav. She not only has to get this parasite out of her head, but also find a way home. Worse of all, it seems the party and more characters are falling in obsessive love with her? And they have memories of her? Will she still want to go back home, or accept her new life in this world?

After defeating the Cult of Bhaal, a copycat is continuing the murders. Before the party can deal with Gortash, they must stop the killer. Solana is a high elf magistrate in the Upper City and is next on the list to die. Bhaal, the killings, and the party play a larger role in her life than she could have realized. The seeds of death have been sown. I also take a few creative liberties for the story. Nothing crazy, just things to help deepen the story. I don't own any characters, names, places, or ideas of the Baldur's Gate 3 game or Dungeons and Dragons. The alliance between him and two of the trio'd dead three erupts with inner chaos. Durge loses his memories by his wretched sister Orin, with the help of Ketheric Thorm and Kressa. Enver 'Flymm' Gortash is uneasy about Orin being the new chosen of Bhaal, his underlying alliance that secretly held more importance to Enver then the other two, his favourite murderous Assassin now the true soul whom holds the artefact, and problems for the future of the ruling of Faerûn.
