To (Y/N), wealth was a given, but fulfillment was a ghost. Her bank account held endless zeros, yet her most prized possession was a manga volume signed by Ken Wakui. Her room was a sanctuary of ink and paper, a shrine to the Tokyo Manji Gang-specifically to the boy with the heavy title of "The Invincible": Manjiro Sano. When the series ended, the world celebrated Takemichi's wedding, but (Y/N) felt only a hollow ache. The "Happy Ending" felt like a lie. Takemichi had his bride. The world was at peace and everyone is saved. But what about Mikey? "It's not the ending you deserved," she whispered. Driven by a desperate need to fix his fate, she opened a blank notebook. She wasn't just a reader anymore. She was going to be the author. She was going to rewrite the tragedies, strike through the deaths, and build a world where Manjiro Sano didn't have to be invincible. He just had to be happy. As exhaustion claimed her, she made a final wish to the universe: "Just once, let me see him. Even in a dream, let me be the one to save him." As she drifted off, the stars outside shimmered with an unnatural light, as if the universe were picking up the pen she had just set down. [AUTHOR'S NOTE :] Disclaimer: All characters belong to Ken Wakui (Tokyo Revengers). Additionally, I do not own any of the images used in this fanfiction; all credit goes to the original artists. Please be advised that this story is a slow-burn. If you're planning to read, expect long, immersive chapters, with each one ranging from 3,500 to over 4,800 words.
