Prince Caydeyrn Di Vel Delphine. Commander of the royal battalion. A legend dressed in iron and silk. He's noble, honorable, devastatingly handsome-every inch the kind of man a kingdom worships, and a woman trusts with her life. Josephine Caldwell. A healer from the quiet provinces. Sweet as spring rain. Gentle as moonlight. Her magic draws pain into her own body so others can breathe again. She gives everything-her strength, her sleep, her peace-and asks for nothing in return. To Prince Caydeyrn, she was a miracle. She never wanted a crown. Never wanted love. But Caydeyrn offers both like they're hers by right. It's meant to be a pure love story. Wholesome. Romantic. It's supposed to make me swoon. But I don't. Because I don't want the prince. I want the other one. Duke Evander De LaCroix. The king's nephew. Vanished at eight. Returned a man-silent, changed. Not only broken. Twisted. Cold. Predatory. Wrong. The story details there is something unclean in the way he looks at people. Like he's already imagining what their screams might sound like. And when he sees Josephine? He fixates. He hunts her. Watches her like she's prey-like he's already decided to break her. She hides behind Caydeyrn's protection, clutching her innocence like armor. And every time Evander steps onto the page, I can't breathe. Not because I'm scared - but because I wish he looked at me like that. The book says he's wrong. That he's twisted. Dangerous. That Josephine's fear is justified. That Caydeyrn is the right choice. But I don't want safety. I want to be ruined by the villain. It's not their slow-burn romance anymore. It's my obsession. And the worst part? I know he would hate me. He wouldn't love me. He'd see the dark little thing I am and realize that I am not the innocent maiden he obsesses over. I'm lucky if he would ruin me for the fun of it. And God help me, I'd let him. Gladly.

There's an Author, Yavira Chiu, who's into writing tragic tales. One day, she's strolling down the street, minding her own business, when bam! She gets hit by a truck. Next thing she knows, she's not Yavira anymore-she's some random maid. "Ugh, why a maid? This story is so ungrateful. If I didn't pen it down, it wouldn't even exist," she grumbles, clearly not thrilled with her newfound role. Yavira's got quite the attitude, let me tell you. But hey, let's see if she can hack it in her own tragic narrative. "What's the name of this maid again? No, wait, my name, rather," she mutters, eyeing herself in the mirror while sporting a plain ol' nightgown-not exactly haute couture. "Miyahani," she whispers, rubbing her temples. "The name's not winning any beauty contests, but at least the girl's got a face," she remarks, somewhat begrudgingly. "Now, let's see. I can actually watch my own story unfold live. Pretty cool, right? Though, I'm dead, so it's kind of a toss-up," she says, sounding a tad bored. Still, she's excited to see her favorite characters in action, even if this story is playing out like a Greek tragedy. So, will Yavira manage to navigate her own narrative? Guess we'll find out. 🌸RUTHLESS MAN AND HIS CHAOTIC LIL POET... 🌸 Seven years stand between them-enough to make their worlds feel impossible, yet not enough to keep fate from colliding. He is the youngest Chief Minister the state has ever seen-ruthless, controlled, and always ten steps ahead. Power sits on his shoulders like armor, and emotions are a luxury he cannot afford. She, on the other hand, lives in a world of ink and warmth-running a quiet café where poetry lingers in the air and broken hearts find comfort in her words. Their first meeting is nothing short of chaos-loud, public, and unforgettable. One mistake, one clash of ego, and suddenly they are on opposite sides of a storm neither of them saw coming. What begins as irritation turns into something sharper... revenge. He sees her as reckless, someone who dared to challenge his authority. She sees him as arrogant, a man who hides behind power to silence truth. Every encounter becomes a battlefield-words like weapons, silence like punishment. But hatred has a strange way of blurring into something deeper. Because beneath his cold decisions, she starts to see the man who carries burdens no one understands. And behind her defiance, he begins to notice the quiet strength that refuses to break. Somewhere between revenge and resistance, something shifts. Feelings they never planned. A connection they never wanted. And a love that could destroy everything they've built-or finally give them something real. Because in a world where power demands sacrifice... can love survive when it was never meant to exist?
