The train never stops. The rails never end. And I didn't know that once I stepped aboard, I'd never step back off. I thought I was leaving my old life behind - the numbness, the quiet depression, the feeling that nothing I did mattered. Maybe I did leave it. But I didn't expect to trade it for something worse. Something alive. Something that watches. Fear wasn't supposed to follow me here. Purpose wasn't supposed to find me here. But both did. I didn't expect to feel anything on this train. Not hope. Not connection. Definitely not love. And yet... her. Kasumi. The hostess who moves like she's made of silence. The girl who never speaks unless she has to. The one who looks at passengers like she already knows how they'll die. The one who feels more trapped than any of us. I shouldn't have wanted to know her. But I did. Something about her pulled me in - the way she spoke only when she absolutely had to, the way she tried to never show a real emotion, the way she whispered warnings she wasn't supposed to say. And yet... it noticed. The woman who is partly a serpent, and entirely deranged. The creature who controls every inch of this train in ways no one understands. She needs things done a certain way. Her way. Always. When she gets what she wants, she feeds. When she doesn't, she devours. Now the lights flicker when I walk by. Doors breathe. Mirrors show things I shouldn't see. And every night at 8 PM, I lie still and pretend to sleep while something with a long neck slides through the ceiling, checking each bed, making sure we're asleep when we're supposed to be - searching for the one person I can't stop thinking about. I boarded this train to escape my life. I didn't know I was stepping into hers. I didn't know she was already claimed. I didn't know the rails were endless. But I know now. And I know one more thing: I'm not letting that thing take her from me.

I wanted to escape my old life - enough to convince my dad to take me to a cabin buried deep in the woods. I thought it would be quiet. Healing. A place where nothing could reach us. But Shadow Hollow wasn't peaceful. It was waiting. The cabin felt perfect at first... until an ominous note appeared at our door, written by something that knew we were there. Something patient. Something hungry. Then I found a girl unconscious in the woods - beautiful, terrified, and marked by something I couldn't name. I didn't know who she was or how she ended up here. But the moment I saw her, something inside me refused to leave her behind. That's when the shadows started moving. Figures watching us from the treeline. A shapeshifter slipping between forms. A presence that didn't just stalk - it selected. We tried to leave the cabin. We tried to leave Shadow Hollow. But the forest didn't let us go. Because the creature wasn't hunting us by accident. It had already chosen what it wanted next.

I came to The School because I was tired of feeling lost - tired of feeling like I didn't matter. I thought a quiet place might help me breathe again. But the calm here doesn't soothe you... it stalks you. Students vanish. Lights flicker. Whispers curl around my name like they've been waiting for me. And every shadow seems to reach for her. Bruce watches the hallways like he's protecting something he won't admit. Bilton hides his fear behind jealousy and sharp smiles. And Kairaness... she looks at me like she already knows what's coming - like she's afraid she won't survive it. I didn't come here to be a hero. I didn't come here to save anyone. But when The School chooses someone, it doesn't let go. And it chose her. So if this place wants her, it'll have to go through me. Because I won't lose her - not here, not like this, not ever.

Some kingdoms fall to war. Others fall because of betrayal. Years ago, the Silver Moon Kingdom was destroyed in a single night. Its king and queen were killed. And its princess disappeared without a trace. The world mourned the lost princess Selene Silver Moon and eventually accepted the only explanation left... she was dead. But they were wrong. The princess survived. Only, she no longer lives as a princess. Now known as Seraphina Bloodmoon, she has buried her identity beneath a carefully constructed life. To everyone around her, she is nothing more than a wolf-less girl....weak, ordinary, and incapable of ever standing among the powerful. And Seraphina intends to keep it that way. Because beneath the helpless façade is a girl who has been trained to fight, trained to survive, and powerful enough to make those who underestimate her regret it. Yet there is one thing even she cannot control. Her past. Her memories are fractured, leaving behind only scattered fragments of a life she knows she once lived. A kingdom. A family. A night she can barely remember. And a question that has haunted her ever since... Who killed her parents? Determined to uncover the truth, Seraphina enters the prestigious Royal Academy, where the heirs and descendants of the Five Kingdoms gather. She believes the answers to her past are hidden somewhere within those walls. But she soon discovers that the people surrounding her may know far more about the fall of the Silver Moon Kingdom than they are willing to reveal. And then there is Rhaezar... the Dragon Prince. A prince from a kingdom whose history may be far more connected to hers than either of them realizes. As Seraphina digs deeper into the secrets of the past, the carefully buried truth begins to surface. Her memories are returning. Her enemies may be closer than she thinks. And the lost princess the kingdoms believed was dead... is coming back.
