A spin off novel from my No Shadow Like Yours 2-book series, dedicated to the one and only Sweet Shadow. You might have to read the other books for context and more information, but it's not required. Shadow was sent to Earth by Maria, but not on some grand mission or with something to achieve. He was all alone, no longer with his best friend or the scientists he memorized or the blank forts he loved so much. Stranded in a strange world with so much noise and colors. On this planet, he meets a hedgehog much like himself, named Sonic, who is kind and gentle and welcomes Shadow into his friend group with open arms and a wide smile as bright as the sun itself. Shadow falls for Sonic immediately. Maybe it's the smile. Or the kind words. Or the gentle presence. Or the fact that he reminds him so much of Maria and protects him from the evils of the world. Sonic becomes everything to Shadow. Until he's taken away. And a new Sonic takes his place.

Sonic the Hedgehog hides the fact that he is a prince, no one but Tails the Fox knows the truth behind Sonic's past. What happens when Queen Aleena orders GUN to find his son and get him home? The Commander puts this very mission to the best two agents they have, taking advantage that they also are best friends with Sonic. What happens when Shadow realizes he has feelings for the blue hero? Will Sonic be turned in or will his friends help him escape?

A perfume was sent to Sonic 'randomly', he uses it, not knowing the effects it would have on his rival...

Sonic started to cough up petals. Turns out he got a disease called Hanahaki disease, which means a specific flower starts to grow in the patient's chest, slowly suffocating them. This is caused by the patient dealing with unrequited love, it happens rarely and only with true love.. Will he be able to find a solution before the time runs out or will he suffocate to death.. :;PLEASE READ:; I think my book is the only one that actually thinks deeply into the hanahaki disease. It's not just about dying 'cause of love. It's a brutal torture day by day. It intervenes into the patient's life, messing up their routines and themselves both physically and mentally, which is why it will deal with the topic depression. I hope my book will give this bad feeling through and making it able to understand the topic's darkside and how brutal hanahaki can really be. Sonic work as a librarian. His little brother usually tag along and help him, his name is Chibi Sonic (little Sonic because he's so god damn adorable). Shadow, came to the library to look around and came across Sonic and fall in love with him, but he never told him. Chibi noticed this and really didn't want his brother to get close to Shadow. But unfortunately, things go wrong as a lightning storm traps them on a ridge, and they're once again in a fight for survival.
