Though painful, Aiden realizes his mom is trying to protect him. Overwhelmed and needing a way out, he texts Ashlyn asking if he can come over. She responds kindly, and he leaves without explaining the truth. At Ashlyn's house, he's greeted warmly, the familiar smell and her gentle energy offering comfort. When he sees Tyler, Tyler silently pulls him into a hug, grounding him. Aiden starts to break down, but feels safe enough to lean into their support. Ashlyn brings hot chocolate and doesn't press him with questions, offering quiet care instead. The three settle in to watch a silly movie, and for the first time in a long while, Aiden feels like he can breathe - not fully okay, but not drowning either.

So this is a tyden fic I started writing in the middle of the night. Anyway it's mostly just Tyler hating Aiden being swooned and falling. probably some swearing. I don't know how far I'll get with this. General story, characters and art is of 'red' on webtoon.
