The Arora estate was quieter than usual that morning. Not peaceful.Just... tense. Nyra stood near the long glass window, hands behind her back, watching the movement outside the mansion gates. Black cars. Armed men. New faces again. Third day.Third attempt. Her lips curled slightly, almost bored. "They never learn," she murmured. Inside the main hall, Viraj Arora stood with his men. Three bodyguards had already failed !! Three bodies had already disappeared into the forest. No questions asked. No traces left...Only silence followed Nyra's decisions. Vikram exhaled slowly."Bring him in." The doors opened. And Reyansh Malhotra stepped inside. He didn't rush,Didn't look around nervously like the others,Just walked in like he already belonged there. Black shirt. Calm posture. Sharp eyes. His gaze lifted-and met hers. Nyra finally turned. For a second, the air in the room shifted. She studied him like a weapon she hadn't decided to use yet. Reyansh didn't look away.Didn't smile. Just stared back. Viraj spoke, breaking the silence. "This is Reyansh Malhotra. He will be your personal bodyguard." Nyra tilted her head slightly. "So," she said softly, "they sent another one." But everyone in the room went still.Reyansh finally spoke. "I wasn't sent to impress you." A pause. "I was sent to stay alive... while keeping you alive." A faint, dangerous smile touched Nyra's lips. "Bold words." She took a slow step forward. Reyansh didn't move.Didn't react. Just watched her like he was reading something no one else could see. Nyra stopped right in front of him.Her voice dropped. "The last three said something similar." Reyansh's expression stayed calm. "And they're not here anymore." Nyra's eyes darkened slightly. Then she leaned in just a little."Tell me, Reyansh Malhotra..." Her whisper cut through the air."How long do you think you'll last?" Reyansh finally blinked once.Slowly."Long enough you alive."

Veeransh Singh Malhotra, 22 years old. To the world, Veeransh was perfection- the topper, the quiet one, the "good guy." Calm, composed, and just present enough to never be questioned. But none of it was real. Behind the glasses and controlled smiles lived a mind that didn't just observe-it dissected. People weren't connections to him. They were patterns. Weaknesses. Data. Born into wealth, he never flaunted power. He was powerful-silent, calculated, untouchable. A hacker. A strategist. A man who always stayed three steps ahead. If he wanted access, nothing could stop him. Then came Annika. He didn't notice her like others did. He studied her. Every move. Every habit. Every emotion. What began as curiosity turned into something darker. Something consuming. It wasn't love. It was an obsession. And Veeransh? He had never been the kind of man who knew how to stop.
