The Second Giant War was gruesome. With only 3 of the 7 left alive, they demigods of prophecy left the camps. They were unable, or maybe just unwilling, to be in the places where their friends once walked. They chose to escape the world of demigods while they still could. They wanted to try for normal so that maybe, one day, they could forget any of it ever happened. They wanted peace and safety. Nico... well, Nico had other ways of coping. ------------- Nico had had a long life. 16 years old, plus however many had passed in that cured casino had left little joy in his life. He had lost his grandparents, his mother, Bianca, his friends, and then Hazel... he missed her more than he could bare. He only knew his sister for around a year before he had lost her, and not a single day had passed in the last two years that he hadn't thought of her. He couldn't go to either camp or the underworld without feeling like his chest would explode from the pain. He knew she was in a better place. Her and Frank were in Elysium with Jason, Piper, and the rest of the heroes that died in the wars. She was at peace. Maybe she had even managed meet his mother and they were watching him now... though he honestly hoped they weren't. They would be disgusted by what he had become. --------- Nico x Batfam (unrelated to my Demigods in Gotham series)

*Pjo/Batfam crossover* Mortal Pjo AU This is the Sequal to Facing the Eclipse, reading will result in spoilers to that story if you haven't already read FtE :3 *** *** *** Jason had his opprotunity. He had the chance to be what he never got, the father that was always there, the father that would never let their son die at fifteen, feeling abandoned. And he failed. Now, almost five years later, dealing with that loss and learning from it, Jason has built himself a new life. He's happy, he'd at peace. Or so he thinks. So when his past comes to haunt him, every mistake he's made since his own death and resurrection hitting him right back in the face, will he continue to fight on, or will he give into his grief, guilt, and self-doubts, and let them bury him alive? *** *** *** I don't own most of these characters. This book will be mostly centered around Jason this time, as the last one was Nico centered.

Nico finally gets out of that weird hotel, only for everything to be different. There are a lot more lights, and everyone is staring at this tiny screen, and the weird lawyer lady is watching him now. His dad visits sometimes, but not enough. His sister is growing distant, which makes sense, she had her own life. It still hurt sometimes though. Then things start to change. He meets the Waynes, for one. Gotham is a big scary place, when he's allowed out into it, but they're nice. And their dad is funny. A lot funnier than his dad.(Don't tell Hades he said that. Ms. Alecto keeps saying he'd smite Nico. Nico didn't believe it, but still.) So yeah. Gotham is fine. His life is... nice. Even when the lights flicker because Bianca is yelling at him, then Ms. Alecto gets mad at her for not controlling her emotions. Even when he's allowed to go outside and he sees ghosts. He doesn't tell Ms. Alecto about that, he doesn't want her to get mad at him. Everything is fine. Then these weird people started coming around their house, and Ms. Alecto started telling them to stay out of the house. Where were they supposed to go? Bianca says the library. But Nico kinda wants to visit their neighbors next door. They seem nice. Not weird at all. Not like his family. *** *** *** *Trigger Warnings will be in the chapters, there's gonna be a lot, just be warned* Cover isn't mine, I don't own any PJO, HOO, or DC plot or characters

There are certain days that you know you will remember for the rest of your life-- the days where you made a decision that changed the trajectory of your life forever-- however Nico never thought that May 14, 2016 would be one of those days. To him, it had just been another day... and then Percy happened. "I think we should start a band," Percy said out of the blue. Nico shrugged. "Sure. I mean, what's the worst that could happen?" A Lot. They blew up. Their first album was No. 1 on Billboard's Catalog Albums chart for 15 consecutive weeks. Overnight, they became famous. They went from playing at CHB talent shows to filling out stadiums in the span of a few months. For 3 years they made music and toured... and then they didn't anymore. December 26, 2019, exactly 1,321 days after their band had been created, it was done. The media was in a frenzy, trying to figure out what happened, but no one ever said why. Everyone in the band moved on to their solo careers or joined a new band... except Nico. Nico just vanished. ------------- Mortal AU + Band AU

(Solangelo Royal AU) For nearly a decade, the Kingdoms of Old Olyum have been trapped in a brutal, unending war. The soldiers of the Allied Kingdoms-led by the Kings Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades-fight side by side to save their people and their way of life, but even the mightiest of kingdoms cannot fight forever. When the fate of the kingdoms rests on the shoulders of one who has already carried far too much, the line between sacrifice and self-destruction becomes razor thin. ------- "So you're resolved to do nothing?" Will said, staring at him like he were a stranger. "You know what happens to these people and your grand resolve is silence?" "I am resolved to live long enough for Hazel to become Queen," Nico said, standing back up with a collection of journals in his arms, crossing to the desk. "I am resolved to end the war so that my father might step down and pass the crown to my sister. She will make changes that neither of us ever could. She will lead us into an age of peace where personal liberties might be afforded." "So it falls to her?" Will said, crossing his arms and looking at Nico with a new look: disappointment. "I never took you for a coward." Nico froze, his jaw tightening as he slowly turned around to look at William, rage flaring in his chest. His voice was deadly calm as he spoke, his words chilling the blonde to the bone. "I am far braver than you will ever be. You sit in your golden castle and judge my homeland, but what have you ever done that meant a single thing? You have no idea what it takes to wake up every morning and choose to survive. You cannot understand the things I have sacrificed to stand before you today. I have built wall after wall to keep air in my lungs-carving away parts of myself with each and every breath I take. You were born into a gilded cage, but I was forged from iron. It is not cowardice that makes me wait, it is strength that you could never imagine."

Nico di Angelo, is a busy man. Don't get him wrong, he loves his job, he's good at it. He loves to write, he loves to sell his songs and hear them come to life with so many talented musicians. And now he has ANGEL, he can release his own music without any of the nepotism allegations. Because the last thing his father would do is give him extra attention - but if he keeps winning awards, maybe he just might get his attention. That's what he used to tell himself, and then he won a literal Grammy and his father still didn't care. But by that point, Nico had worked himself up the DOA Records ladder first as a musician and then becoming an award winning artist and he loved it enough he could forget his father's opinion (or lack thereof). Nico wasn't blind. He could admit that Will Solace was easy on the eyes (read: super fucking hot) but they were both young artists competing for the same awards and Nico didn't have the luxury of supportive, knowledgeable parents to help him out. So sue him, if he doesn't love Will Solace who seems to be trying separate himself from everything Nico ever wanted.

Main characters are not mine. Ownership and credit goes to DC and Rick Riordan. Art is not mine, that credit goes to @Catchildhb This story will have trigger warnings in every chapter that requires them, but for the major ones that pop up often, those will likely be topics like homelessness, abuse, neglect, internalized and externalized homophobia, violence, non-consensual druggings(like Gotham drugs, Joker Venom and stuff), etc. Enjoy. This will probably be more Damian-centric, because I'm trying to branch out and that just feels right, but I'll never actually know until I write it :3 Have fun. *** *** *** The Waynes picked up strays. That was a fact, a well-known fact. Damian had always thought he'd be the one picking up, though. Eventually, at least. He already picked up animals, true strays, not like the human strays his siblings joked about. He'd never expected to be picked up by a stray, though. Damian Wayne and Nico di Angelo had a bit too much in common. Cold fathers. Growing up alone. Finding it hard to truly connect, to truly be what others wanted them to be. There was one difference, though. Damian had a family. Yes, they were not great. Yes, they made him feel like an outsider in all but the best of times. But he had a family. Surely, they would miss him should he leave. Nico didn't have that anymore. He'd lost it. All of it. In what seemed like an instant. And the most difficult thing of all is trying to work through that, and possibly build up from the Hell he'd found himself in, again. Maybe they could do that together.
