This is a Fire Emblem Awakening fanfiction. Lottie has no memory of who she used to be. On a whim--or simply because she has nowhere else to go--she joins the Shepherds as their tactician. She doesn't seem too worried about her backstory since she has always been the type to let what happens happen. In fact, the threat to the world is just one of the many side stories to Lottie as she figures out how to counsel her army into shape. After all, there's a lot that Lottie needs to do. She has to walk in on a prince while he's bathing to be good friends with him and get an woman-fearing guy to fight her seriously by throwing figs at him and prank a princess to get the princess to stop pranking and teach a responsible man how to eat bear meat and beat a narcissistic archer at a strategy game and stop a barbarian from peeking into women's baths and look after a guy by giving him a birthday present and befriend a mage that sees Lottie as an experimental subject and find an invisible man and read novels to show a clumsy girl that she's fine the way she is and get a childish mage to write a truthful letter to his parents for once and teach a snobby noblewoman slang words and feed a rabbit a pot of carrot stew and fend off a thief's gifts by keeping his secret and befriend a genius that loves a prince and dream about an old guy flying through the air and help a dragon find a rock after she killed a snake with it and get a womanly man to draw a picture of her and become friends with a stalker mage and help a dancer make a theater and help a woman's wyvern find true love and get a morbid mage to help her organize her library and convince a princess that she's not in love with her father and fend off a persistent leader that keeps trying to recruit her services and become a sister to another persistent leader and fail at cooking with a farmer and prove to a merchant that her skin becomes smooth with sticky, itchy cream and much, much more!

Within the walls of the clinic, Max finds himself placed in the middle of a group of boys who all share a similar story. Seventeen-year-old April Parker's plan is simple: survive ten more months under her overbearing stepfather's roof, graduate, and get as far away from him as possible. It's the only thing that keeps her going and the reason his cruel expectations haven't broken her. The last thing she expects is to wake up inside an underground facility with dozens of other teenagers for company. Making allies doesn't come easily to her, thanks to her stepfather, and she's forced to hide the stigma of her upbringing to keep herself safe in this new world. But when the stronger teenagers fight for control over the facility, April is left with two choices: to remain the insecure person she's always been or to break free of Sam's chains and step forward as a leader-even if it means going up against the temperamental and compelling Marcus. As conditions within the facility become more stressful and the teenagers' resilience is put to the test, strange powers start to manifest. So do dangerous changes. And if their kidnappers' silence is anything to go by, no one is coming to save them.

High school freshman Violet Ferguson was never like the other girls. She dressed differently, acted differently, looked differently, and even talked differently. She wasn't exactly your bright ray of sunshine, but hey, she wasn't always Debbie Downer, either. All of this is put to the test when she and her best friend make a big "oopsie" in their friendship that leads to disastrous results. Nothing would ever be the same. Now all Violet has left is her iPod, her mom's blue hoodie, and...a rusty razor. Can Violet cope or will she fall down, too?
