Wishfor, a planet that's been turned inside out. Mylu Midge, a hot-headed delinquent ex-occultist, prone to crime and violence, is kidnapped and taken beneath Wishfor's crust to the Realm of the Sunless. An underworld riddled with demons, psychological warfare, and eldritch, alien deities, sent here to spread the influence of dark ideals and chaos across light-bearing souls. Scale, an Eminent, one of these impossible beings, appointed by the evils at be, with the sole purpose of causing cataclysm and despair, is perhaps the biggest metaphor for don't judge a book by its cover of them all. Shy, anxious, a science-lover, and a total social recluse- Scale is a man with a complex separation between the beasts of his soul, and the paradisical kingdom he envisions in his mind. He's a lover, a learner, and a spiritually awoken Witch, using his position as an Eminent to unlock the mysteries of the darkness, in hopes of achieving a future without it. Intending to bully the strange, horned, scaled, radiantly red-eyed God into returning him back to the sun, what begins as an awkward introduction, slowly but surely explodes into a lust-fueled, cannibalistic pining between the two men, that falls deeper into the dark realms of obsessive codependency and unconditional love, the further they progress into the Sunless world. Mylu is a gift of gold with a rotten heart of darkness. Scale is a planet of possibility with an untold story. Opposites - from their hearts, to their souls, to their acts of depravity - the two monsters are tethered to each other's destinies in more ways than one. - More than just a bloody love story, Fiendish entwines the heaviest elements of horror, dark romance, high fantasy, and ghoulish fairy tales all into one. Just the first installment into a long, unwinding destiny entwining the psychology of the soul versus the shadow - are you hungry enough to sin? Or are you heaven enough to sprout wings?
