Eggman has partnered up with a Mercenary. But instead of immediately sending him to kill Sonic, Eggman runs tests on this Mercenary. The Mercenary mostly wants to say no, but does it so he can earn enough money to keep a stable life for his younger siblings. Luna and Tom are two siblings - even though Luna acts like the oldest, she's actually the youngest. They were shopping and then an attack happened. They were surrounded by robots and Infinite himself. They were able to escape, to find out something mysterious much later.
