"I can't believe this!" Eleanor turned off her phone in a mix of anger and embarrassment. "She's the daughter of a wealthy family with millions of dollars and a dream life, yet she runs after a playboy? She lets him and his friends walk all over her? She even lets them bully her former best friend?! What a stupid girl! I hate this character. If only I had that kind of money!" She looked around her empty kitchen, hungry. She didn't have anything to eat because she couldn't find a job. Eleanor stood up to plug in her phone since the battery was low. Hurrying toward her bedroom, her feet slipped. She fell hard, her head slamming against a solid surface.

Chloe was only five years old when her mother passed away. Having lived with her grandmother, before moving in with her father's new family, Chloe's life changes forever as she finds out she has three brothers who are adamant on taking her home. Once we all climbed out of the car, River opened the trunk, grabbed the suitcases, and handed them off to the guards. "They have to check them," he said flatly. The words registered a second too late, and my eyes widened. "No way. That's an invasion of privacy." "We have to make sure you didn't bring anything harmful-" River started. "Just let them check, Chloe. There's nothing wrong with it," Nathan added, trying to play peacemaker. I felt a surge of irritation. Nothing wrong with it? I clenched my fists at my sides. "You're the ones who came for me! I didn't even want to be here. I'm not letting you go through my things." "Then you aren't coming in," River stated. His tone was harsh and firm; he wasn't going to budge. "No!" I shook my head, refusing to back down. "Done." The voice interrupted us. I turned around to see the boy with the headphones-the one whose name I still didn't know-had already unzipped my suitcase and was digging through it. His nose scrunched up as his eyes landed on the box of condoms sitting right on top. Gosh, this is embarrassing. River raised an eyebrow, his gaze shifting back and forth between Kai and me before he quickly looked away. I might have been hallucinating, but for a split second, the stoic, terrifying River actually looked flustered-he almost tripped over his own feet as he turned toward the house.

I woke up inside the world of one of the best selling fantasy book series "Deadly Crown." Intrigue, handsome heroes, adventure... sounds great, right? Just one problem: all the named characters except the main hero and villain die, are replaced and their replacements die. Being important in this story is a death sentence, so I plan to move to the middle of nowhere, and avoid the plot! It should be a fool proof plan, so why do the main characters keep dragging me into the story? I promise I'm not important enough to have a name, please leave me alone!
