In the year 2030 the world was changing. The fourth great awakening spread across America and Europe, causing more than sixty percent of these country's population to take up the bible, and attempt to make the world a more livable place for future generations. However, that year was also the year a new race, or should we say, species of humanoid began to emerge. These people were born with strange markings upon their skin and hair, and many had athletic prowess to rival most athletes. However, there was one thing that separated them completely from the rest of earth's population; the remarkable ability to transform themselves into animals. Unsurprisingly, some radical religious followers believed that these beings were demons sent by the devil himself to uproot their newfound faith. Riots, lynchings, hate crimes, and attacks on the innocent families of these beings ensued. For decades, these crimes went on virtually unpunished, until an innocent woman was murdered in her own home on the night of her birthday ball. However, she happened to be married to a very wealthy business man, who did everything he could to spread awareness for these peaceful beings, known as Fursonians, and their plight. Two years before his death, he opened his most prestigious academy for Fursonians, built atop the ruins of the mansion his wife was killed in so many years before. He died shortly afterwards, and was laid to rest alongside his wife on the school grounds. Two years after his passing, his dream was realized as Fursonians were granted equal rights at long last through the Fursonian Equality act of 2063 . However hate and fear never quite disappear from the heart of some, even after many decades pass... Fast forward to the year 2116. Ava Redd is a young Fursonian girl, age thirteen, about to enter the final academy that was founded by the man who fought for her rights. Now it is time to see if the world has really changed, or if it is all just a façade...
