This is a story I started on AO3 in March. You might find this story very familiar. If so then you've read Miraculous Justice copy and pasted by KeilahAgreste my story. They have taken it down and I am going to post updates on both sites. Lila made good on her promise. Marinette has lost all her friends. Though she has found friendship with Chloe. But you know the good thing about having nothing? You get to stop caring. So if Lila wants a little monster to cry about....well she's going to get one. But closing yourself off is a slippery slope. The class goes to Gotham for an exchange program(because that's how Daminette stories go) Damian sees Marinette closing herself off and it reminds him of how he used to be. And he would never wish that on anyone. Will he be able to help Marinette?

Marinette and Damian were raised together in the League of Assassins. They got bonded together when they were 9 years old. When they were 10 an attack came and they got separated. They vowed that they would find each other again. Stuff happens to both of them, but Marinette gets more bad stuff than good stuff. And they get a chance to, when Marinette wins a trip to Gotham for her class 8 years later, when they are 18.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng or better known as Marinette Marina Jackson is the daughter of Poseidon and twin sister to Percy Jackson. When she was a baby she Talia Al Ghul found her and brought her to train with the League of Assassins. There she met Damian Al Ghul and was betrothed. After Death Strokes attack Marinette was sent to live in Paris with an ex assassin and Damian was sent to live with his father in Gotham.

8 years ago she had everything, her friends, her family, her master, and in her mind the love of her life. 7 years ago she had her family, she lost her friends to a liar. 6 years ago she lost her master gaining 18 miniature gods in the process. 5 years ago the love of her life betrayed her and so did her family. 4 years ago she won against HawkMoth. 3 years ago she left Paris and France altogether. 2 years ago she discovered that there are more Miraculous were out there. 1 year ago she realized she was destined to be alone and gave up on love, family, and friends, the only ones she needs are the kwamis. Now at 23 she is alone, slightly broken and a wanted criminal for theft, in her defense she only steals lost miraculous and as the Grand Guardian, they technically belong to her. She won a class trip to Gotham and now she finally has a chance to be a normal teen. But who is the emerald-eyed boy who just won't leave her mind? Gotham holds many secrets for the hero of Paris. Will she uncover them all with a side of revenge?

Marinette is tired of her class. They have been bullying her for three years. Lila has almost full filled her promise. But her true friends have stayed by her side. She had to bench Chat after he attacked her. The only good thing besides finding her true friends is that her fashion dream is starting to come true. Bruce Wayne and Lex Luther are offering an all payed trip to Gotham and Metropolis for the class that writes the best essay. Marinette wins, while there she hopes for a break but will she find something more?
