Oxford's golden boy doesn't date.
Archie Duboïs is the university's star rugby player, top of his class, and the one guy who never settles down. Girls flirt with him, teammates bet on him, and everyone knows better than to expect anything serious.
Evie O'Doyle has no interest in proving them wrong. Witty, guarded, and carrying more responsibility than anyone her age should, she has no intention of getting involved with someone like Archie.
Unfortunately, one drunken lie in a crowded nightclub changes everything. Suddenly half the university thinks Evie is Archie's girlfriend.
What starts as a harmless cover story quickly divulges into gossip, jealousy, and a reputation neither of them meant to create. But the more they spend time together, the harder it becomes to ignore the truth.
Because Evie O'Doyle is nothing like the girls Archie usually keeps his distance from.
And before he knows it, the one thing Archie Duboïs is falling for the storm he can't seem to escape.

ONC Prompts:
24. Staying as friends feels safe, but that doesn't mean it's the path you're meant to take.
28. Self-love often starts small, like planting a single seed. With time, patience, and a bit of light, it will blossom.
29. You will meet many people in your life. Many will come and go, but some will leave footprints on your heart.
46. "We love broken, beautiful people. And it doesn't get more obviously broken and more classically in beautiful than you."
