"Of course, I talk to myself!" I replied indignantly. "Sometimes I need expert advice!" Zoya Ventrova, also known as Ghost Bird, lives in a world that is ravaged by zombies. Traveling with her close friend Wil, she is on a mission to save the world, one zombie at a time, one victim at a time. The Blackbourne-Toma team is on a mission too. The same one, in fact. So, of course, they're just bound to meet... ◇ Action ◇ Comedy ◇ Sci-Fi ◇ Romance ◇ Highest Ranking: #100 in Action

This contains a selection of one-shots that DON'T happen in the series. You don't need to read this to understand the story. Some will be written by me when I go off on a tangent (Ohh... Silas' hands), others may be by other very talented writers :D

(Based on the Academy series by C.L.Stone. Do not copy as a lot of this is original work from other stories I'm working on. I just wanted to play around with them in a fanfiction for fun. So I'll be pretty pissed if I find them used elsewhere.) MATURE CONTENT WARNING: there will be abuse and sexy scenes. Lullaby just moved to Charleston, North Carolina. But besides that fact she's still locked away from the rest of the world. Kept in the basement and only allowed out to clean at night, she's got a very small world that's hers. Her mother is cruel and abusive, her father distant and complacent, her sister jealous and malicious. In her basement she creates her own worlds, by painting them on the walls. Her only music is her voice that she dances to. She's beautiful and creepy and socially stunted yet so full of wonder and compassion. Nine men are exhausted from their mission at Ashley Walters. The students belong in prison, the 'management ' is a joke, and the trailers out back are ridiculous. They're apart of The Academy - a secret society with the goal to better the world by any means. Their students are immortal warriors, trained to protect. The Blackbourne team is at a slight disadvantage though - they're missing their mate. Each team has a mate, a single individual to be shared between them for all eternity. This mate will become their center, their reason for existing. She'll also empower them and make them stronger. So when a flirty doctor, a music prodigy, and a foul mouthed artist hear an angel singing on their way back from the diner - imagine their horror and surprise when they find their mate lives in a concrete cage. Imagine their surprise that she's been locked away since her childhood over a unique gift each mate is blessed with. A gift meant to be revered and guarded. Her gift being unheard of and new - the lullaby. Coincidence? Perhaps there's more to her tale than the evil mother and the girl who lives in the basement. #LuluSmash

If you had the ability to alter nightmares into sweet memories, would you do it? Sang doesn't know how she became the Sandgirl, or why she was chosen. She walks around, invisible the the world, changing nightmares into one of the dreamer's happiest memories. This Christmas Eve is an especially lonely one for her. As if someone is listening to her thoughts of isolation, she follows the nightmares of nine, beautiful men to switch their bad dreams into good ones. **This is a Christmas one shot for C. L. Sang Sorenson doesn't know what to believe. For the past few years she's been seeing nine boys that no one else could. At first, they were written off as imaginary friends that she had made up to help with loneliness and stress. But as the years continued, and the guys weren't going away, her parents and doctors became concerned. Sang was officially diagnosed as schizophrenic at the age of 14 and had been on too many prescriptions to remember. Sang almost believed she really was crazy. . . Except for the fact that no matter how many medications she took, the guys still remained. And she was just fine with that fact. **Disclaimer** I do not own the Academy Series or the characters. It all belongs to C. L. Stone.

Cover by Macey_Mouse Sang is a human. Scratch that, she's a cat. She's an Academy bird? Maybe labels aren't her thing. Sang Sorenson is a shifter, a human who can shift into an animal at will. It's been her secret for years. She never had the best life, but when her mother found out, Sang found out just how cruel humans could be. The punishments were relentless, always for things she didn't do. Her mother's favorite was to strip her down naked, force her to shift, and lock her out of the house until it was time for school. Then, Sang would be let inside to get ready, go to school, come home and do some chores, possibly being punished, and then it was outside for the rest of the night/weekend. She was a 'creature from Hell,' as her atheist mother might say, an animal. And animals live outside. That doesn't make it any easier to survive out there, however. So when Sang gets stuck in a tree, and the boys come to the rescue, she's grateful for the 'friends.' She soaks up their attention and affection, quickly worming her way into their team- but as only a mere cat. They confide in her, love her as a pet, unaware of her true nature. They have no idea the kitten they love so much is really just a teenage girl. How long can she keep up the act? What happens when the boys find out? I guess you'll have to hit the 'Start Reading' button if you ever want to figure it out. Insert exaggerated wink here.
