She never asked to be a seer. She never asked to carry visions that tear pieces of her away each time she looks into the dark. But when Gandalf brings Maureen to Thorin Oakenshield, she finds herself bound to thirteen dwarves and one stubborn King who swears she is under his protection. From the gold-lit halls of Erebor to the shadowed forests of Mirkwood, Maureen walks a road filled with visions of blood, fire, and loss. Every glimpse into the future shows her the same unbearable truth: Thorin's death. Yet the closer she draws to him, the harder it becomes to let go. Thorin has weathered exile, fire, and battle-but nothing shakes him like the woman fate has placed in his path. She is fire and defiance, tenderness and steel, and though she insists her gift will one day destroy her, he refuses to surrender her to prophecy. Not to Azog, not to kings who would bargain for her, not even to the madness of his own gold-sickness. As kingdoms clash, armies gather, and dragon-fire burns, a bond forged between King and Seer may be the only thing strong enough to defy fate itself. But can love endure when prophecy demands sacrifice? A tale of destiny, devotion, and the fierce love that can turn the tide of war-Maureen and Thorin's story will break your heart and heal it, leaving you breathless until the last page.

Her family gave shelter to a band of weary travelers. A meal by the fire, a kindness freely given - nothing more. But five years later, Thorin Oakenshield remembers. With Erebor reclaimed and his crown secure, the King Under the Mountain seeks to repay a debt long left unsettled. Yet when he returns to the farmstead, he finds not a warm hearth but ruin - and the woman who once caught his eye standing alone among the ashes of her family's sacrifice. What begins as honor quickly becomes something deeper: laughter breaking through grief, quarrels sparking into kisses, and two stubborn souls learning to fight not against one another, but for each other. As shadows stir once more and Erebor itself calls him home, Thorin must decide if love can be more enduring than stone - and if he dares to claim not just a kingdom, but the heart that has been his all along. A tale of memory, fire, and fate - where debts are paid not in gold, but in love and when love blooms promise is kept.

[A Wattpad FEATURED story!] She's been King Thranduil's close friend for a long time. But when a shocking rumor about his past comes to light, it shakes her entire world. How well does she really know him? With the threat of war and an uncertain future for the Woodland Realm, her comfortable life is changing forever, and so are her feelings for her friend. A story about second chances with eventual romance. Set during the events of the Lord of the Rings. Thranduil/OC Disclaimer: Everything belongs to Tolkien except for my characters. A/N: It was before Christmas 2014 when I first watched BBC's Emma with Romola Garai (wonderful, by the way - watch it if you haven't). A few days later I went to see The Hobbit BOTFA on its opening night. It was during a car trip from a family Christmas party when I came up with idea for this story. And while it doesn't follow the Jane Austen classic completely (Thranduil is no Mr. Knightley!), it was certainly inspired by it. I enjoyed the challenge. Check out the FB page for the story: facebook.com/StarsofVardafanpage/ (thanks to @MaggieShivers for creating it and running it!)

Love has the power to heal the deepest wounds. #ElvenKingsNeedLoveToo Set during Lord of the Rings. Thranduil/OC Thranduil's not afraid to do whatever necessary to push back the darkness threatening his forest. The hands of the king have the power to heal, but will it be enough to save his kingdom...and himself? This story will have romance, adventure, friendship, angst, and a lot of dwarves generally misbehaving. Written by an author who has read ALL the books and seen the movies. Story will follow book canon, not necessarily some of the things that PJ added to the movies. Beautiful cover art by the talented Kimberly80 on deviantart.

*SPOILERS BASED OFF ALL HOBBIT MOVIES* "This whole story; from beginning to end, was one of the best and most intriguing stories I have ever read on wattpad(and believe me, I've read a lot)!!!" -@incognitodolphin Orcs slaughtered all of the Nymphs except Jaedda. By forming a massive grudge against these creatures, she became an excellent warrior. But during the battle of Moria she fought in, Azog almost killed her. Almost. Thorin Oakenshield saved her, but she never got a chance to thank him. When Gandalf meets with him in Bree, Jaedda pledges her services to Thorin as thanks for saving her, thus making her part of the company to reclaim Erebor. But to her dismay, she later discovers that Thorin isn't fond of females. But soon, he grows an attachment to this brave little warrior. However, does she grow accustomed to him after how he's treated her? *I DO NOT OWN HOBBIT. ALL RIGHTS BELONG TO TOLKIEN AND THOSE WHO MADE THE MOVIES*

Born of darkness. Forged in fire. Bound by fate. Diana Vanserra is an outcast; half human, half-elf, and the last of the Nyxarian line, a bloodline feared for its shadow-wielding power. Once a princess of a hidden mountain realm, her world was shattered when Azog the Defiler slaughtered her kin under Sauron's command and enslaved her for years. Now free, she's become a deadly force of vengeance, carving her way through Middle-earth in pursuit of justice. When Gandalf witnesses her fury firsthand, he offers her a new path: join a dwarven prince named Thorin Oakenshield and a Hobbit burglar on a quest to reclaim Erebor from the dragon Smaug. Reluctantly, Diana agrees, but from the moment she meets Thorin, the two are fire and flint. Prideful, headstrong, and unyielding, they clash at every turn. Yet as the journey grows darker and the stakes rise, so too does the bond between them, built not on trust; but on shared scars, buried pain, and a slow-burning desire that neither dares to admit. The relationship between Thranduil and Tauriel after the Battle of the 5 Armies. How Tauriel is dealing with the aftermath of the battle as she goes back to Mirkwood and realizes that she has always wanted Thranduil's love and affection in her life. It turns out there has been more behind their turbulent relationship than they let themselves believe. The story follows their relationship from the days and weeks after the battle to many years later, during the events from LOTR and after. I absolutely loved their chemistry in the Hobbit and this is my first fanfic. I tried to keep the characters as close to the movie versions as I could (since Tauriel only appears in the movies and Thranduil's personality is only vaguely presented in the books). I am also including info about what happened to Thranduil's realm after the Hobbit from the LOTR book appendices... There will also be feasts and celebrations along the way! #partykingthranduil Rated mature for some chapters. #thrandiel #1 in thranduilfanfic #6 in Tauriel
