A oc x Grimmel fanfiction When living among dragons brings more enemies to the people of Berk, a former dragon huntress and her Changewing stand between those two worlds. She has to be one step ahead of them, especially Grimmel the Grisly. Hiccup has slain a Night Fury and recieved the validation he always wanted, while Grimmel learned there was another way through no choice of his own, even if his methods may not be those of the compassionate idealist the world could have had. One decision is all it takes to define your future, a single fork in the road. But sometimes, that fork might span the world...

Grimmel the grisly took hiccup a week after Berk gave up the dragons. He has a fight with his friends about the dragons and ends up going for a walk alone where he meets Grimmel

We all know the story: Grimmel has exiled Dragon Riders out of Berk, slew all Night Furies, Warlords were idiots who remained after Bludvist, Snoutlout tried to court his aunt, all dragons left to the Hidden World after victory over them despite no losses on Hooligan side, Deathgrippers died with Grimmel, etc, etc. But what if I'd tell you that truth was different? That what we've seen in the movie is just Zephyr's imagination created on Hiccup's sparse explanations? That after HTTYD 2 (in chronological meaning) objectively true is only Homecoming? This is true edition of what actually happened... At least for me. You can too consider this canon if you want... Hooligans are still exiled out of Berk, dragons still leave, still there are only Berkians shown here, but I've put much more emphasis on character editions from RTTE and Warlords. Oh, and Deathgrippers survive! This is my first fanfic, so it may have be poorly written in some places. I'll be grateful for any constructive criticism! Only characters of my own and plot are belonging to me, anything else isn't. No mean comments nor swearwords in them, please!
