Marceline has a pretty messed up past, an even messed up present and probably a messed up future already laid out for her. Marceline is a high school student with a not-so-great life. The only thing good in her life is Bonnibel. A grade-A student who is the complete opposite of Marceline. The only problem is Marceline has a massive crush on her! I do not own Adventure Time, nor its characters. Or any art used in this book.

With the defeat of the vampires, Marceline and Bubblegum seem to be as close as ever. But what happens when a sudden bolt of lightning brings the Vampire Queen as close to death as she can get? How does the princess react to her best friend once more in a comatose state, so soon after the last time? And what chain of events does this spark?
