To Severino, she was a season he had already outgrown. To Damarie, he was the only sun worth chasing.
As a Junior Civil Engineering student, Severino is as rigid and unyielding as the structures he designs. To him, Damarie is simply the girl from next door-a permanent fixture of his past who belongs in the "younger sister" category. He greets her presence at the university not with a warm welcome, but with a cold, biting indifference that feels like a perpetual winter. He has his blueprints, his lab partners, and a world that doesn't include the clingy childhood friend who looks at him with stars in her eyes.
But Dam is a Marketing major, and she knows when a brand needs a total reinvention.
Tired of freezing in his shadow, Damarie stops chasing. She stops waiting by the engineering building. She trades her pining for ambition, throwing herself into the fast-paced world of Marketing Management and becoming a woman Seve no longer recognizes. She becomes distant, polished, and-most frustratingly-unbothered by him.
Seve hated her persistence, but he finds he hates her silence even more. As the frost of his indifference begins to crack, he realizes that the girl he tried to keep in the "past" has become the only future he wants to build. But thawing a heart isn't as easy as reading a floor plan, and Seve must learn that if he wants to see the flowers, he has to survive the storm he created.
